Kandi Burruss married Todd Tucker in a reportedly drama-free wedding on Friday, but these are still Bravo reality stars we’re talking about so of course there were some clashing egos involved.
Burruss’ beloved Mama Joyce has never been a fan of Tucker, but the two were able to bury the hatchet long enough for the ceremony and reception to go off without a hitch.
Though Mama Joyce later admitted that she and Tucker were butting heads right up until the big moment.
“I got a little pissed at the bridegroom the night before this wedding,” Joyce revealed in an interview over the weekend.
“He kind of held up on signing the prenup and didn’t come to the rehearsal dinner because he didn’t want to sign it.”
Joyce says Todd eventually signed the agreement, but only after involving his own mother in his attempts to weasel out of it.
“His mom said she didn’t see no reason for him to have to sign because they were in love. He was the one who didn’t have a damn thing, but that’s another story,” Mama Joyce says.
“But from what I understand, he did sign.”
Let that be a lesson kids: if you’re gonna have a prenup, don’t put it off until the night before the wedding. Also, don’t star on a Bravo reality show.
