Ryan Carroll, a 28-year-old man who won a contest to meet the Breaking Bad cast at its September finale, has been arrested on drug dealing charges.
A raid on a home in the San Carlos Park neighborhood in Fort Myers, Fla., let to the arrest of Carroll, who was taken into custody on felony charges.
He got popped for possession of synthetic narcotics and a misdemeanor charge of allegedly keeping a shop or vehicle for dangerous drugs, CNN reports.
Not small-time quantities, either. As the warrant was served, neighbors described a swarm of police cars and dozens of officers descending on the neighborhood.
Sounds like a certain TV show Ryan is a fan of. He won a national contest to meet the stars of Breaking Bad in L.A. prior to the AMC hit's series finale.
"It's just so addicting," Carroll said at the time he won the big prize. "It's such a good show. I think it's addicting because people can relate to the main character."
“It’s highly addicting, just like the meth they make (on the show).”
Clearly, the show was also educational for Carroll. More than $1 million in synthetic marijuana, reportedly mixed using a cement mixer, was seized.
Also confiscated? A hazmat suit signed by Breaking Bad cast.
If you haven't seen the show, we highly recommend you watch Breaking Bad online. It really is addicting ... though we don't suggest you follow Carroll's lead.
And three words for you, Ryan: Better Call Saul!
