Catarina Migliorini, a 23-year-old Brazilian college student, is auctioning off her virginity to the highest bidder, even as she considers a marriage proposal.
It’s been about 15 months since Migliorini was offered $780,000 for her v-card from a Japanese millionaire, who bid for it via an online auction.
That deal was never consummated for unknown reasons, however, so she attempted it again recently via her own website, VirginsWanted2 (dot) com.
The latest auction was supposed to end December 12, but she recently extended the last day for bids to February 12. Why did she push it back, you ask?
Not because she’s not getting offers – $440,000 is the high bid at press time – but she’s prolonging the auction while she mulls an even bigger offer:
Marriage! Oh yes. Miglorini tells the Huffington Post:
“I decided to continue because I received a proposal from an Arab millionaire and I’m thinking about it, [because] this proposal involves a possible marriage.”
“As summer is here now, and [there are a great deal of] holiday parties, I decided to extend the time so I could analyze everything well in advance.”
Migliorini, 23, talks with the unnamed Arab millionaire a lot over Skype and says he’s a “progressive Muslim” who knows how to treat a young lady.
“He shows himself to be very romantic,” Catarina said by email via a translator, noting that her potential future husband “speaks 11 languages.”
“He’s between 35 [and] 40 years old. He’s a handsome and very intelligent man … He lives in a beautiful mansion that he shows through the webcam.”
Here’s hoping it works out … or she gets an offer she can’t refuse. Whatever she wants, really. A girl deserves to be happy and/or rich by selling her body?
