Jesse Tyler Ferguson: The First Gay Bachelor!

by at . Comments

Jesse Tyler Ferguson stars as the first gay Bachelor in a Funny or Die spoof of the hit reality TV dating show, which kicks off in January on ABC.

For more on the actual show, check out The Bachelor spoilers. For a look at how it would turn out if the star of the show and all the contestants were gay?

See the parody, hosted by George Takei (obviously), for yourself:

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the openly gay star of Modern Family, seems like a perfect fit for such a show, though it looks like it didn't go as planned. At all.

After all, when you put 12 hot, available gay men (most of which are trial lawyers named Bryden) in a house together, then everyone is The Bachelor.

It doesn't matter if you're Ferguson, Juan Pablo Galavis or a certain member of NSYNC. Those Bachelors will even the playing field very, very fast.

The (straight) Bachelor returns Monday, January 6.

The Bachelor Quotes

There’s still a lot of growing to do in our relationship. We will not tie the knot until I am mentally and physically prepared as well as Matt.

Shayne Lamas

It was a fairytale proposal like I’ve always dreamed about. I forgot that there [were] cameras around. In that moment, it was just Matt and I and it was the most amazing moment of my entire life.
