Rapper DMX has been arrested for what has to be at least the 15th time, this time outside a South Carolina airport for driving with a suspended license.
DMX (real name Earl Simmons) was also booked for driving without vehicle tags or insurance, according to the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
Airport police familiar with X and his lengthy arrest history stopped the rapper as he was driving up to the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
The 42-year-old hip hopper spent a few hours in jail before posting a $1,335 bond on the charges, according to the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
He was booked at 6:27 p.m. local time after the latest in his numerous run-ins with cops in South Carolina and elsewhere, many of which involve driving.
He was arrested in August and charged with possession of marijuana, calling BS on the cops just days before he was due in court on a DUI charge.
Speaking of which, DMX was arrested in July on suspicion of DUI and failing to have a valid driver’s license when asked by law enforcement personnel.
X’s arrest record also includes charges of: animal cruelty, reckless driving, drug possession, weapons charges and probation violations. We could go on.
