Another photo of a dog sleeping has captured the heart of the World Wide Web.
A couple days after shots of a puppy cuddling with a nappy baby went viral, we're excited and moved to present the following image of Jeffrey and Jermaine.
The former is blind, the latter is his guide dog and the eight-month old canines were discovered on the streets of Philadelphia by an animal rescue organization called Operation Ava.
"The unconditional love and devotion these two dogs show is positively inspirational," reads a post from the Chester County SPCA, which shared this image on Facebook late last week.
Operation Ava is trying to find the dogs a loving home.
The deadline to apply for ownership is November 19 at 5 p.m. EST, with applications reportedly flooding the company's offices.
Jeffrey lost his sight due to a congenital condition and there may be hope it can be saved.
"We are very excited to hear that there may be an opportunity for Jeffrey to receive an evaluation from an eye surgeon in Va. – we will keep everyone posted," reads another message on the shelter's Facebook page.
"We are also grateful for everyone's kind thoughts and concerns about these dogs – it is heartwarming to see the amount of care people have for two of our favorite residents."
