The Voice Recap: Who Owned the Top 10?

by at .  Updated at . Comments

The Voice's remaining 10 singers gave it their all once again Monday night, as the Season 5 field continues to be trimmed down along with the margin of error.

Who shone brightest on yet another night of gripping performances?

It remains to be seen if voters will deliver a Dancing With the Stars results-style shocker tonight, but for America, some decisions will be easier than others.

And then there's the Twitter instant save. Who will need it to survive?

Let's break down all of Monday night's Top 10 Voice singers:

Tessanne Chin's beautiful version of Gladys Knight's "If I Was Your Woman" showed the proper respect to a classic song and her unique take on it. She ruled.

Ray Boudreaux showed poise and power with "You Are The Best Thing" and best of all for his chances, some personality as he rose to the top tier of the top 10.

James Wolpert did his thing in another brave performance that no doubt got him into the next round. He's got the stage presence and the raw talent for sure.

Matthew Schuler dedicated "Beneath Your Beautiful" to his future wife. Now that is sweet. His youthful energy and confidence shone through on top of his vocals.

Kat Robichaud, with her rendition of "We Belong," received some polarizing reviews online. Some think she's tremendous, others say she's completely overrated. You?

Cole Vosbury's "To Be With You" by Mr. Big was a strange choice, even if he sounded at least as good as Mr. Big. It just didn't channel Cole's abilities that well.

Austin Jenckes' take on "Your Love" by The Outfield was like Cole's "Adorn" from last Monday in terms of paradigm breaking, but not quite on that talent level.

Will Champlain dressed like the devil, according to Christina, which is great because it's Will Champlain and cannot be more harmless. He did well here.

Caroline Pennell sang "Leaving On A Jet Plane" because she has flown to California to be on The Voice. Deep. Despite her best efforts, it was a little flat.

Jacquie Lee was torn apart online for pitch issues during the first half of this very slow take on "Clarity" by Zedd and Foxes. Was it deserved? You decide.

Which performers do you think punched their tickets to next week? Who do you think should go home tonight? Which coach has the best team remaining?
