As The Bachelorette spoilers predicted, Juan Pablo Galavis did not make it to the end of the current season. But what no one saw coming is this:
He's being called the front-runner to become the next Bachelor!
"The ladies seem to love him, and he's really good-looking and personable," says a source who works on the show and is involved in the casting.
Nothing is final, according to insiders, and there are two other guys who are still in consideration, should Juan Pablo fall through or not want the gig.
We can only assume that means Chris Siegfried, Brooks Forester and/or Drew Kenney, Desiree Hartsock's remaining three men, would get a look.
There are no candidates from outside this Bachelorette season.
Juan Pablo Galavis is a Venezuelan-American professional soccer player who retired in 2009 in order to stay in Miami with his daughter, now 4.
The 31-year-old had a very real physical connection with Desiree Hartsock, and many felt he was not only nice, but the hottest guy on the show.
He would also be the first minority Bachelor, something ABC no doubt covets after enduring criticism over the years for casting cookie cutter white guys.
