Jennifer Lopez was reportedly rushed from the set of a video shoot in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., last night as gunshots were reportedly fired nearby.
This immediately prompted security to rush her to safety, The Miami Herald reports.
The 43-year-old was doing a TV interview on the set when the shots were purportedly heard. Lopez and Casper Smart were escorted out hurriedly by security.
Local police subsequently arrived on the scene to investigate the shooting.
ET's Rob Marciano, who was conducting the interview with the former American Idol judge when the shots rang out, later tweeted about the incident.
"BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away," Marciano reported.
"Can hear & see ambulances converging ~400 yards down the street," Marciano added later. "Police confirming: 'shots fired. no one hit.' Whew."
Lopez has been filming her new music video with Pitbull, "Live It Up."
Jennifer, Casper and everyone working on the video are okay.
