Two girls in Oregon no longer need to buy their dad a gift for Father’s Day this year. They’ve already gotten him the best present of all: life.
Haylee and Hannah Smith came to their parent’s rescue last week after Jeff Smith was suddenly trapped under a 3,000-pound tractor.
He screamed for help and the teenagers, 14 and 16, came running.
“It’s amazing. You hear about this kind of stuff… this adrenaline rush, being able to pick cars up and slide people out. You never realize it’s really there until you actually witness it,” Jeff said. “I was very amazed and very grateful they were able to do that.”
