The idea of a Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes hologram touring alongside TLC to promote the surviving members' forthcoming new album has resurfaced, according to reports.
More than a decade after Left Eye died in a car crash in Honduras, TLC is planning a new album and a reunion tour in which a Lopes hologram could play a role.
"The hologram is something we talked about and thought about years ago. Obviously timing is everything, but we're definitely talking about it," Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas said.
The idea to resurrect Lopes, who was 30 when she died, for shows was first rumored last spring, after a hologram of Tupac Shakur wowed audiences at Coachella.
This is the first time the band members admit they are considering it, however.
TLC is best known for albums Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip and CrazySexyCool, and for hits such as "Creep" and "Waterfalls." Don't go chasing them, people.
