While the Tameka Foster bashing has quieted over the last few months, Usher still feel the needs to defend his wife and his marriage.
“I’m very happy, and in a great place being a married man, but still obligated as an artist to service and have the relationship that I built through music with my fans,” the R&B star recently told the Associated Press.
With a new album and a new baby in his life, you’d think the man with such amazing abs would wear a perpetual smile. And he’s trying to. But critics sometimes get Usher down.

“If you respond to negativity, there is really no positive that you can get out of it. Unfortunately, no matter how real something is to you, of course people are going to always have an opinion,” the musician said of his marriage to Foster.
In closing, Usher took a shot at celebrity gossip blogs:
“Unfortunately, opinions matter for some reason. Bloggers have an opinion, and now people quote what they read from bloggers, but it’s not a testament of what the reality is.”
The truth hurts, doesn’t it, Perez Hilton?
