Why couldn’t they bring back The Thundercats instead? Or maybe snap bracelets?
We’ll let you know if either of those staples from the 1980s becomes mainstream again – but, for now, it appears as though we’re simply stuck with a comeback attempt by the New Kids On The Block.
After 14 years away from the spotlight, the original boy band has pretty much confirmed that it’s set to return: the group has released a new ballad on its official website. Check it out now and let us know what you think.
The song plays over a promotional video for the band that says the New Kids On The Block once had it all — a $1 billion in album sales, millions of fans, music that “influenced a generation” — but then “walked away from it all.”
The video next teases the a comeback, asking: “Are you ready?”
We’re somehow guessing, though, that our response won’t change a thing. These guys have been Hangin Tough for too long to go away now.
