Remember the good old days when Jamie Lynn Spears dominated the news? Well, pregnant little sis is back – and the celebrity news ain’t good.
Since Britney Spears’ 16-year-old sister announced she is expecting a baby with her long-term boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, many entertainment news sources have questioned the fate of her Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101.
Question no more. It was announced Friday that the fourth season of the hit “‘tween” show will air as planned – but will be its final season.
“For now it looks like it has been canned,” a Nickelodeon source said.
Zoey 101, a story about a cute young girl (Jamie Lynn Spears) who enrolls in a typically all-male school, is a hit show aimed at children ages 9-14.
But TV sources worried publicly that airing a season in which the now pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears stars will send the wrong message to children.
Come to think of it, the fact that Jamie Lynn’s sister freaked out and had to be wheeled out of her home on a gurney wasn’t good for PR either.
According to one report, Britney bragged to Jamie Lynn during her meltdown that she “wouldn’t be the only Spears in the headlines this week!”
