While girlfriend, Beyonce, wears the fur of innocent, slaughtered animals, Jay Z is trying to actually help those less fortunate than himself.
That’s right, you can no longer accuse the rapper of being a Cristal man. His latest obsession is water, something that – sadly – doesn’t flow very freely in many places around the world.
At the UN yesterday, Jay Z said he’s traveling to Africa for the first time ever to document the world water crisis for an MTV documentary called “Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life.” Maybe he’ll team up with Madonna there.
The program will air November 24. It will show Mr. Z meeting children who, according to estimates, are amongst the more than one billion people around the world who don’t have clean and safe drinking water.
“Every 15 seconds a child dies from not having access to clean water,” the rapper told the press at the UN. “I want people to know that while they’re having their Poland Spring at Cipriani.”
Or complaining about pressing life issues such as prank phone calls.
