The Trayvon Martin 911 call has become a focal point of the George Zimmerman murder trial, the live stream of which continues Tuesday in Florida.

Persuading jurors about who is shouting on the 911 call that captured the fatal confrontation has become the primary goal of prosecutors and defense attorneys alike.

Jurors on Monday were presented with conflicting testimony about whether Zimmerman's and/or Martin's voice could be heard screaming for help.

A parade of Zimmerman friends said they recognized his voice.

After two weeks of prosecution testimony in the high-profile, closely-watched trial of George Zimmerman, the defense is now going to present its case.

At issue is whether Zimmerman, 29, acted in self-defense when he shot and killed unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012.

Friday, the prosecution rested with testimony from Trayvon's mother and brother, who testified that it was Martin's voice calling for help on the 911 call.

Not all of the state's witnesses were as compelling, however. In fact, some analysts believed the police may have helped the defense instead.

As the defense makes its own case, the million-dollar question is whether Zimmerman himself will take the stand, though we may not know for days.

In the meantime, watch the live stream of his trial in the video below:

After a one-day respite for the July 4 holiday, the much-watched second-degree murder trial of George Zimmerman continues in Sanford, Fla., Friday.

The ex-neighborhood watchman shot Trayvon Martin to death in 2012, and the case has gripped the nation for the better part of a year and a half.

Part of the reason for that? The prosecution's case is far from iron-clad, at least according to analysts who have watched the trial's first two weeks.

The state has called Martin’s brother as one of its final witnesses, though if history repeats itself, he may end up helping the defense instead.

Testimony continues in week two of the much-watched George Zimmerman trial Wednesday, with the prosecutors appearing increasingly on the defensive.

Yesterday, the state frantically tried to undo serious damage to their case by one of their top witnesses, a police officer who interviewed Zimmerman.

Chris Serino of the Sanford, Fla., police, testified under cross-examination that Zimmerman seemed to be telling the truth about firing in self-defense.

Prosecutors successfully argued that Serino’s comments about Zimmerman’s truthfulness should be disregarded by the jury, but the damage was done.

Serino’s testimony was the latest setback for prosecutors, whose witnesses seem to support the claim that Trayvon Martin was the aggressor.

Will today be any different? Watch the George Zimmerman trial live stream below:

Testimony continues in the second week of the George Zimmerman trial in Sanford, Fla., as prosecutors look to make their case against him.

Monday, Chris Serino, the lead police detective who investigated Trayvon Martin's fatal shooting in February of last year returned to the witness stand.

He will be back up there Tuesday to discuss his investigation as the state hopes to establish that George  Zimmerman is guilty of second-degree murder.

Jurors will hear a series of police interviews of detectives questioning Zimmerman, who claims he acted in self-defense, about his confrontation with Martin.

Jamie Foxx donned a t-shirt in honor of slain teen Trayvon Martin at the BET Awards last night.

But the actor says he wasn't make any kind of political statement with the act.

Jamie Foxx Trayvon Martin Shirt

"The reason for the shirt is that I met his mom personally... it's not political, it's not left, it's not right, it's not black, it's not white, this is about the kid," Foxx told Kevin Frazier of The Insider, adding:

"For all of us, no matter what color you are... I have kids [one who is] 19. I have a kid who's 4. You want to protect them."

Testimony in week two of the George Zimmerman trial begins Monday, and as always, THG is live streaming every moment of the courtroom drama.

The coming week should bring a shift by prosecutors toward witnesses that will testify on the scientific evidence they have against the defendant.

Watch the Zimmerman trial live stream below:

Prosecutors should call forensics experts and investigators who performed tests on the gun Zimmerman used to shoot and kill Trayvon Martin.

That testimony will shed more light on the positioning of Martin and Zimmerman, and perhaps who was the aggressor - the key to both sides' argument.

More than 20 witnesses, including Martin's friend Rachel Jeantel, testified in the opening week of a trial that has sparked so many national debates.

Zimmerman, charged with second-degree murder, has pleaded not guilty in the wildly controversial case, insisting he shot only in self-defense.

George Zimmerman’s murder trial enters its fifth day Friday as both sides try to establish exactly what happened the night he killed Trayvon Martin.

Every last detail could be the difference in whether he is convicted of second-degree murder or a jury buys his claim of self-defense and lets him walk.

This was never more apparent than when defense attorney Don West grilled prosecution witness Rachel Jeantel, the last person to speak with Martin.

West pressed her during cross examination on what he implied were inconsistencies between her testimony and earlier depositions she gave to police.

More witnesses are set to appear today and receive similar scrutiny from the state and the defense. Watch the Zimmerman trial live stream below:

Today is Day Four of the George Zimmerman murder trial, and once again, Rachel Jeantel is on the stand, making headlines for a number of reasons.

Jeantel, a.k.a. “Dee-Dee,” was Trayvon Martin’s 16-year-old girlfriend. Or just a friend. It's not entirely clear, but her last phone call with him is crucial.

As the person who was purportedly speaking with Martin right before he was killed by Zimmerman, her testimony has come under heavy scrutiny.

Will defense attorney Don West expose any inconsistencies during cross examination? And will the court reporter be able to understand any of it?

Testifying in the George Zimmerman trial, prosecution witness and Trayvon Martin friend Rachel Jeantel, 19, says she was on the phone with him before he was shot.

She explained that Martin told her some “creepy ass cracker” was following him as he walked back to his dad's house from a store in Sanford, Fla.

According to Rachel Jeantel's bizarre testimony, Martin was worried that George Zimmerman was a rapist, and said to “stop playing with him like that.”

He also told Jeantel that the “n----- is now following him.”

Neighborhood watchman Zimmerman is charged with murdering the unarmed teen. He says he was viciously attacked by Martin and it was self-defense.

Jeantel, who allegedly perjured herself months ago by stating that she missed Martin’s funeral because she was in the hospital, made for quite a scene.

Frequently mumbling her testimony, leading to delays in court as people tried to figure out exactly what she was saying, she became the star of the trial.

Not necessarily in a good way. Take a look at these clips:
