The Twilight Saga and Abduction star took his 19-year old ex-girlfriend to a performance of OVO by Cirque du Soleil in Santa Monica last night.
The pair, who dated in high school, were photographed coming out of the event, while an insider tells Us Weekly they "have been hanging out a lot in L.A., seeing a few shows and going to dinner."
Hicks is now a Los Angeles Clippers cheerleader.
Lauter, who has been linked in the past to both Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, split with Lily Collins in September.

For the record, Taylor Lautner is not gay. It would be absolutely acceptable and far from a big deal if he were, but it simply isn't the case.
However, for a few hours yesterday, many Internet users believed this Twilight Saga star had revealed an intimate detail on his life to People Magazine, due to the following fake cover, which leaked online:
Heck, music mogul Russell Simmons even Tweeted how he was "proud of Taylor Lautner for his bravery and his courage" after he saw the headline, later learning the whole thing was a hoax and adding:
"disappointed that people would joke about someone coming out about their sexuality. Let Taylor Lautner be whoever he wants to be..."
No word yet from Taylor's camp, though the magazine has come out and said the issue is "fake." So you may go ahead and continue to scream and dream over the actor, female members of Team Jacob. There remains the slimmest chance he might someday be yours.

The beautiful stars of Breaking Dawn came out on the red carpet of the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last night, as this upcoming blockbuster premiered in front of fans that had been camped out for hours.
While clips and trailers can be fun and exciting, nothing beats seeing your favorite hunks in person - and neither Robert Pattinson nor Taylor Lautner disappointed.

Taylor Lautner on Breaking Dawn: Time to Man Up!
Sure, Edward Cullen gets married in Breaking Dawn. And Bella Swan gives birth.
But Taylor Lautner says this installment of the Twilight Saga highlights an especially interesting journey for his character of Jacob Black, telling our friends at Movie Fanatic that it was the most "challenging" film of the franchise to shoot.
"Jacob becomes a man in this one and he has to make a lot decisions," Lautner told Joel Amos. "He’s being torn between his two families. It was really tough."
Lautner gives credit to director Bill Condon for helping him navigate the often-shirtless waters.
"I trusted him completely, and it was really special," the actor says of his bond with Condon. "And now seeing the movie, I’m really happy Jacob starts here and he ends here, and it’s just very exciting to see him in a completely different light than ever before."

Taylor Lautner on Twi-Moms: Scary!
Taylor Lautner has faced down evil vampires and mean werewolves. He's also fought his way through a throng of screaming young women.
But on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, the actor opened up about the most frightening creature of all: The Twi-Mom.
"There are teenage girls, but we also have separate divisions of fans, maybe even more passionate are Twi-moms," he said, detailing why with this story of a Twi-Mom who told him: "'I am wearing the Team Taylor panties right now. Is there any way I can get them off so you can sign them?' I would have done it, but security was like, there is like no way your panties are coming off, ma'am."

They may already be guaranteed to live forever in the hearts of Twihards across the land, but Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were officially immortalized in cement today.
The Twilight Saga trio became the latest stars to be honored with a Hand and Footprint Ceremony outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Stewart labeled the event as "crazy," in the best of ways, while Lautner said:
“There are a few moments that mean just so much. It’s really even hard to explain. This is definitely one of those. This is really like a dream. It’s such an honor.”
Added Robert: “This is incredibly scary... This is such an incredible honor. How young we are - it’s kind of ridiculous and amazing at the same time. It’s all thanks to you guys who drive the franchise forward."
