Russell Brand is a British comedian, actor, columnist and presenter of radio and television. You may remember him for hosting the 2008...

Katy Perry kissed a girl and she liked it. Russell Brand gave a male stranger a hand job in the bathroom of a London pub and didn't like it all that much.

So the comedian shockingly claims, noting it was all for British documentary series he was working on at the time with the goal of exploring social taboos.

That's one way of putting it.

As part of his social experiment Re: Brand, Russell recounted the story in great detail a podcast interview with fellow British comedian Richard Herring.

I w**ked off a man in a toilet," he said, matter-of-factly.

"I thought, ‘I think of myself as heterosexual but perhaps that’s ‘cause of the environment that I grew up in where homosexuality may have been difficult for me to express.’”

Leave it to Russell Brand to first be honored at an event… and then given the boot from an after-party in celebration of that same event.

Last Tuesday, the comedian was presented with the Oracle Award at the British GQ Men of the Year event, only to receive some flak after joking that Hugo Boss "made uniforms for the Nazis."

“The Nazis did have flaws," he joked. "But, you know, they did look f-cking fantastic, let’s face it, while they were killing people on the basis of their religion and sexuality."

To some, this was a more inappropriate comment that Brand's previously stated desire to have a KKK threesome.

According to Brand's Twitter recounting of the fallout from this quip, the magazine's editor asked him to leave a post-awards party, as the comedian wrote:

“GQ editor: ‘What you did was very offensive to Hugo Boss.’ Me: ‘What Hugo Boss did was very offensive to the Jews.’ #GQAwards #nazitailor.”

Somewhere, Jesse James totally didn't understand why this joke was considered offensive.

Katy Perry covers Vogue in its July 2013 issue, and looks simply breathtaking. Even if she covers herself up a lot more than male fans may be used to.

Katy Perry Vogue Cover

In the issue, she opens up about the men in her life, past and present.

Of her former husband Russell Brand, she says the day he decided to divorce her - 12/31/11 - was the last time she's heard from him in any capacity.

"He's a very smart man. I was in love with him when I married him," Perry says. "Let's just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me."

Divorcing someone via text? SMH and ROFL at that one, Russ.

If these walls could talk ...

Katy Perry is unloading the mansion she bought while she was married to Russell Brand, nine months after the pair finalized their July 2012 divorce.

According to real estate site Zillow, Perry had been trying to sell the 1920s-era home under the radar, but is now listing it publicly for $6.925 million.

Records indicate that the former lovebirds purchased the property for $6.5 million in June 2011. They reportedly planned to redo it and then move in.

Of course, Brand filed for divorce six months later, putting the kibosh on that idea ... but for that hefty price, you can make it your own any minute now!

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian took over Chelsea Lately last night, welcoming guest Russell Brand and responding to his unusual request:

Let's have "a KKK threesome!"

That's how the raunchy actor put it, at least, to which Khloe gamely (and grossly!) replied: "I heard pregnant p-ssy is the best p-ssy."

Ray J might disagree with that assessment. After all, he hit it first and we're sure he would say he hit it best.

Watch the exchange between these four continue to grow more lewd and sexual by the moment, as Khloe displays some personality and Kim finds it impossible to deviate from the script:

Was John Mayer jealous of Katy Perry and Russell Brand, and did that lead to the couple's second (and for the love of all things good, final) breakup?

According to reports, the singer-songwriter wasn’t happy that his now-ex was still on friendly terms with her former husband, who she split with in late 2011.

Mayer grew tired of Katy’s comparisons between him and the Brit comedian, and it created tension between them that threatened to boil over at any point.

Eventually, it just became too much.

Russell Brand discussed John Mayer and Katy Perry with Howard Stern earlier this week, and his pop star ex was spared any truly brutal comments.

At least considering this is Russell Brand and Howard Stern.

"What do you make of your ex-wife dating John Mayer?" Stern asked, getting right down to it. "Doesn't she know that he's a worse womanizer than you?"

"Worse or better, depending on how you view it," Brand joked.

Looks like Russell Brand is looking to Spice up his love life with a new Girl.

That would be Geri Halliwell of Spice Girls fame! See what we did there?!

The 37-year-old British comic is now dating the 40-year-old singer, The Sun (UK) reports, along with pictures of them on a date at Hampton Court Palace in London with Bluebell, Geri's 6-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

Russell also posted this Twitpic after the Olympics' closing ceremonies:

Geri Halliwell recently alluded to a new relationship in an interview with British celeb gossip mag Hello: "I'm not going into details," she said, giggling.

"Right now there's nothing serious. I was a late starter on the romantic front. I didn't start dating until I was in my 30s ... I quite like having somebody to cuddle."

"I like that intimacy, it would be wonderful."

Earlier this summer, Brand dated Isabella Brewster, the younger sister of Dallas star Jordana Brewster, but the two reportedly broke things off.

Before that, he was married to Katy Perry. Maybe you've heard of her. Here's wishing Russell and Geri the best in their fledgling romance!

There's little gray area when it comes to Russell Brand doing anything live.

Reactions to the zany British comedian's bizarre appearance at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony were probably either "OMG this is awesomely weird" or "Who let Russell Brand sing?!" ... with little or no middle ground.

His home country crowd seemed more in the former camp, in any case:

Singing the song "Pure Imagination," a tune made famous by Gene Wilder in Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, Brand's performance was unique enough before it became a trippy, Beatles-themed psychedelic bus tour of Olympic Stadium.

Brand's rendition of "I am the Walrus" won't win him points in the vocal department, but you gotta give the guy credit for being original ... maybe.

For better or worse, he's no Taio Cruz.

She didn't even last one term as Governor of Alaska. She failed in her bid to become Vice President of the United States. At this point, she's merely a Fox News contributor and the mother of a reality TV star.

So why does Sarah Palin remain so newsworthy? Russell Brand has a theory.

  • Russell Brand at FX Party
  • Sarah Palin Interview Pic

"The reason that Sarah Palin has been so long tolerated is that latent inquisition around her vagina," Brand laughed yesterday during a Q&A session at the Television Critics Association press tour. "People want to f-ck her, don't they? That's why they tolerate the other stuff... The dick don't lie!"

The comedian, whose Brand X talk show has been picked up by FX for seven more episodes, was also asked about the recent Chick-fil-A controversy.

"Didn't Chick-fil-A say that they're racists now? Oh no, homophobic. I get mixed up with the prejudices. I forget who I'm supposed to hate."

We're gonna assume that many Republicans, following Brand's take on Palin, won't be as confused. They likely know where to direct their hatred at the moment.
