With Bristol Palin engaged and preparing to tie the knot with Dakota Meyer, her former fiance and baby daddy is going the opposite direction romantically.
Levi Johnston and wife Sunny Oglesby have hit rock bottom, he confesses in a new interview, but Bristol the Pistol's ex says he hasn't thrown in the towel. Yet.
Revealing that he went so far as to meet with a divorce lawyer, Johnston tells Radar he's not in a good place with the mother of his second and third kids.
“We hit rock bottom. Every goes through bad times,” Levi Johnston admitted. “Everyone fights or has arguments, there is nothing out of the ordinary about that.”
A source close to Sunny Oglesby said, “The marriage isn’t going well, but he can’t leave because of his newborn girl and Sunny can’t support the family.”
In fact, the source said, they just moved in with his mom to save money. Johnston confirmed that they did move, but insisted he is far from destitute.
“I’ve been doing really well financially and this is the best job I’ve ever had,” he said, adding “I am not broke" and explaining why the couple relocated.
"We moved in with my mom because we plan to buy or build a house in 3-4 months and I didn’t want to sign a year lease. We are trying to figure out what to do.”
“I am going to be with her forever,” he adds. "We are good, happy and better than we’ve ever been. I don’t have a Bentley or a Lamborghini but I love Sunny.”
He'd even be open to growing their family once more. “I’d say I’m done but I look at my daughters and I miss having them be babies,” he revealed.
Sunny recently gave birth to their second child, a girl, after welcoming their first, also a girl, a few years ago before the couple tied the knot in Alaska.
As for his son with Bristol Palin, six-year-old Tripp, Johnston said he is “happy” for Palin and “things are better with us than they ever have been before."
"It is good for Tripp to have his mom be happy. Even though [she's moving to Kentucky], I will see my son just like any other dad who lives in a different state."
"And Bristol is from here [Wasilla] and she will always come back.”
Sounds way too mature to be this guy ... but hey, people change?
