Should Fergie Judge The X Factor?
The X Factor carousel has stopped spinning on Fergie. At this exact moment, at least.
This member of The Black Eyed Peas is reportedly the latest big name under consideration by Simon Cowell and company, as sources tell Life & Style "there have been some conversations" between the singer and producers, but: "It's in the early stages."
Other possibilities for the judging panel - which we know will include Cowell and L.A. Reid - reportedly include Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Britney Spears.
George Clooney's girlfriend, Stacey Keibler, is supposedly a candidate for one of the two hosting gigs available.
If nothing else, the massive layoffs of Steve Jones, Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul have certainly kept The X Factor in the news.

Las Vegas was the place to be for celebrities on Saturday night, as scores of famous people popped champagne and toasted to 2012 in Sin City.
Among them: Kim Kardashian, our reluctant Celebrity of the Year, and Fergie. The former hosted her very own party at nightclub TAO (i.e. she stood around on the red carpet and posed for photos), while the latter attended a bash at 1 Oak with husband Josh Duhamel.

The Black Eyed Peas Just Can't Get Enough
"This song is about love and strength and is dedicated to our friends in Japan."
That's how Will.I.am introduced his group's rendition of "Just Can't Get Enough" last night, as The Black Eyed Peas followed Lee DeWyze and performed on the American Idol results show.
Toned down a bit from their Super Bowl spectacle, the single featured Will.I.am on the piano and Fergie in a white dress with St. Patrick's Day-themed nail polish. A nice touch. Check out their performance now:
Fergie on Christina Aguilera: Peeps Get Nervous!
Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie was quick to come to Christina Aguilera's defense after she botched the national anthem yesterday before the Super Bowl.
On the Dan Patrick Show this morning, Fergie admitted the Black Eyed Peas halftime show effort was also sub-par, then defended the embattled Aguilera.
Claiming she's "human" and people make mistakes, especially given this once in a lifetime opportunity, she chalked the Star Spangled Bungle up to nerves.
Some might chalk it up to Christina's obvious drinking problem, but as always, Ferg was more diplomatic. Here's a portion of her interview ...

Fergie vs. Jennifer Lopez vs. Kim Kardashian: Who Would You Rather...

But Fergie, Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian were all ready for some football late night, as they attended the Miami Dolphies home-opener. Fergie performed the national anthem with Marc Anthony; Lopez actually has a minority stake in the team; and Kim was likely patrolling the locker room for a new man.
