It's taken years of dating and a pair of children, but Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are finally engaged! How do we know? The actor himself Tweeted yesterday:

"Just asked Camila to marry me, #MerryChristmas."

The Lincoln Lawyer star and model - 42 and 29, respectively - met in 2006 and have two adorable children together: three-year-old son Levi and 23-month old daughter Vida.

McConaughey included the photo above with his Tweet, which depicts the actor with very little hair, but a whole lot of heart. Congrats to the beautiful couple!

At last night's Academy of Country Music Awards, Matthew McConaughey presented Best Male Vocalist.

Before he handed out the hardware, however, the actor opened up to the crowd about his sex life.

"After the show last year my lady and I - Camila - went back to the hotel and conceived the little lady who is now our daughter, " he said. "I promise you me and Camila are going to try not to get so lucky this year. Two is enough. We're flush for awhile."

TMI? Perhaps. But if we got to see Camila Alves nude, we'd likely brag about it, too.

Matthew McConaughey might be wearing a shirt in the photo below, but it's still the cutest picture you'll ever see of the actor.

McConaughey has posted the first image of his newborn daughter on his official website, including the simple caption with it: "Our latest family member, Vida Alves McConaughey."

She sure is a cutie, isn't she?

Mother and fiancee Camila Alves is also included in the picture, of course. She debuts as the host of Bravo's Shear Genius on February 3 and says her Vida:

"It's easier with the second child because you know what she'll be like."

Camila's mother, meanwhile, reportedly wants Matthew to put a ring on it. But we're confident that will happen. Until it does, let's just send our best wishes to this gorgeous family.

Soon after the calendar turned to 2010, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves welcomed their second child into the world. It should be a time for celebration, right?

Wrong, says Camila's mother.

According to unreliable sources at The National Enquirer, Multo Abrigado is pressuring Alves to force the actor into marriage or a financial arrangement that will guarantee the future well-being of her kids.

"Camila's mother is very traditional, and she's worried that since they are not married, Matthew could leave her daughter high and dry with two kids if he falls out of love with her," a source said, making the first ever comparison between McConaughey and Levi Johnston.

How did the often-shirtless hunk react when Alves followed through on her mother's advice? He "exploded," the insider claims:

"He said, 'I'll always take care of our babies - and you!'"

Since becoming a mother, Alves has put her modeling career on hold. Little Levi McConaughey is 18 months old, while daughter Vida was born on January 3.

While Camila doesn't know what to do next, her mother won't take her eye off the fiscal ball. Concludes the anonymous source:

"Now Multo is pressuring Cam to get Matthew to commit to a legal agreement. She said, 'He wanted you to carry his babies - he ought to take real responsibility.'"

He also ought to take that shirt off in the photo above. Come on, Matthew!

Matthew McConaughey doesn't need a reason to tear off his shirt and play his bongos in celebration of life.

But the actor has one now: fiancee Camila Alves has given birth to the couple's second child!

Daughter Vida weighed in at seven pounds, seven ounces and joins big brother Levi, 17 months, in the McConaughey family.

"'Vida' is Portuguese for 'life' and that's what God gave us this morning," the actor blogged. "Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks."

We wish this growing family nothing but the best!

Sorry, ladies. But Camila Alves is set to officially take Matthew McConaughey off the market.

The couple has been dating for years and are parents to adorable little Levi. They're also expecting a second child later this year.

According to The National Enquirer, though, Alves wants to be hitched before Levi's sibling arrives.

"Camila was fine about not being married when they had their first child a year ago, but she wants a ring on her finger before their next baby arrives," a source told the publication.

As for McConaughey, who previously said he doesn't believe in marriage (or wearing shirts), the insider added that he "immediately agreed to Camila's request. Having his son has changed his priorities in life."

Matthew McConaughey celebrated his first Father's Day yesterday, with 11-month-old son Levi. Making it a truly memorable occasion, he and partner Camila Alves also announced they are adding to their brood, as she is pregnant again!

"Happy Father's Day. It's my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila have been the most rewarding adventure to date," the star wrote on his website.

"We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father's Day that makes this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother. Yeah, we have pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time."

"Camila and are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows, and we thank you for all the well wishes you send out way."

"Viva la evolucion, naturally, and in the mean times and all time, just keep livin, Matthew and Camilia."

Matthew McConaughey combined two of his four loves last night.

The gorgeous actor had to wear a shirt, and he had to leave son Levi at home - but he and girlfriend Camila Alves attended the Fiesta Bowl between McConaughey's former school, the University of Texas, and Ohio St.

The Longhorns prevailed, 24-21, in an exciting matchup. As you can tell, the couple enjoyed every second of it:

McConaughey attended Texas with the initial goal of becoming a lawyer. Fortunately for movie fans - and for the actor himself; we're pretty sure you can't go shirtless in a courtroom - the allure of the big screen eventually drew the star in.
