Dannielynn: All Grown Up, Still Pimped Out

We haven’t seen much of little Dannielynn and celebrity gossip-loving father Larry Birkhead in awhile.

But they showed up again this weekend, with Dannielynn having grown into an adorable toddler and Birkhead not having changed a bit:

He’s still pimping his tyke out for wads of cash. Guess the millions - and millions and millions - left to her by Anna Nicole Smith weren’t enough.

Birkhead and Baby

Larry Birkhead earns one hundred dollars from the paparazzi every time he kisses his daughter. So we’ve heard.

Larry Birkhead Should Be Ashamed of Himself

We supported Larry Birkhead for so long.

In his custody battle with Howard K. Stern for the rights Dannielynn, he seemed like a genuinely concerned parent. Anna Nicole Smith was wealthy? It was like Larry didn’t even notice.

Now, however, Birkhead is making sure he’s noticed everywhere he goes with his daughter. Including the cemetery.

As shown here, Birkhead has actually sold images of himself and Dannielynn visiting the grave of Anna Nicole. Moreover, Entertainment Tonight will run an interview with the supposed mourner, documenting the events in his life since Anna’s passing.

We’re not sure why. Everyone has seen them all already. Birkhead has made sure of that.

Exploiting Dannielynn

Can you imagine the family of Heath Ledger acting like Larry Birkhead? Stop being a celebrity, Larry. Go be a father.

Larry Birkhead Takes Dannielynn Shopping

This picture would be a lot cuter if Larry Birkhead hadn’t taken his daughter shopping on Robertson Blvd., one of the most popular locales for entertainment news reporters.

We’ve been major supporters of Birkhead throughout his battle over Dannielynn.

But first rumors swirled that he may star in a reality show alongside his baby… and now he takes her out among crazed celebrity photographers?

The guy is starting to seem like the Spencer Pratt of fatherhood. Will he be dating Tiffany Dupont next?

Father and Daughter

What are you doing, Larry Birkhead?

We’ve been on your side in the Dannielynn custody battle for months and you seem like a decent enough father.

But then you announce a reality TV show; and now you’re spotted with Paris Hilton at the Playboy Halloween party.

After taking this photo, we hope you washed your hands multiple times before picking up your daughter with them.

Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn: The Reality TV Show

Larry Birkhead PicThis is a worse idea than hiring Britney Spears to babysit your children.

Larry Birkhead is close to finalizing a deal that will showcase himself and daughter Dannielynn in a reality TV show.

“I don’t want to give away something yet,” Birkhead told The Daily News this week. “It’s basically the ‘day in the life of daddy duties.’

But is it really necessary, Larry? We’ve been on your site throughout this ordeal - but can’t say we approve of sticking your one-year old child in the celebrity spotlight just to make a few more bucks.

“The truth is, people came to me with pitches, and I haven’t accepted anything. It’s something they continue to talk to me about. It’s multiple networks. I’m listening to what they have to say. I turned down ["Celebrity Rap Superstar"].

That’s a shame. Who wouldn’t have wanted to see Birkhead battle it out with Perez Hilton and Jason Wahler for the honor of… best celebrity rapper?

Overall, Larry is sick of questions about the $1.7 million he received from OK! magazine for its exclusive photo shoot with him and Dannielynn. He says the media should “Let Anna rest in peace, and let me move on.”

Note to Birkhead: STARRING IN A REALITY SHOW ISN’T THE WAY TO DO THAT!

“My daughter is my focus now. I’m being a great dad,” Birkhead said. “She’s teething. She’s got about eight teeth. Everything is great with her. She chomps on me every day. All she has to worry about is her Barney video.”

And, soon enough, the boom mics that will be hanging over her every move.

Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn: Taking It Easy

Life isn’t easy under the glare of celebrity gossip cameras.

So you can’t blame Larry Birkhead for taking his adorable daughter on vacation for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

We’ll leave him and Dannielynn to it, just wanted to comment on what a cute pair these two make.

They go together almost as well as Jason Wahler and Katja Decker-Sadowski.

The Birkheads

Larry Birkhead Sets a Good Example

A week after Dannielynn turned one, her father told celebrity gossip sources that he was more focused than ever on being a positive influence in her life.

“Life is too short, this story has taught me,” Larry Birkhead said to People magazine at Sunday’s TV Guide post-Emmys party in Hollywood. “I have no plans to fight. I’d just like to be positive for my daughter.”

Birkhead says Virgie Arthur, Anna Nicole Smith’s awful mother, “wants to be a grandma, but grandmas bake cookies, not fake lawsuits. I’d like everybody that shows good intentions to be a part of my baby’s life. I think that’s the only way to do it. If you show me anything less than the best intentions, then hit the road.”

Well said, Larry.

Despite DNA proving that Birkhead is the father, Arthur is still trying to wrangle her daughter’s giant fortune Dannielynn away from him.

Meanwhile, Birkhead has actually found an ally in Howard K. Stern, which is sort of akin to Britney Spears coming to the defense of Kevin Federline. As opposed to, you know, trying to have him killed.

“It’s a working relationship,” Birkhead said of Stern. “People can scratch their heads at it, because I do, too. Chances are, if Anna were alive today, things would be different for us. Howard was a part of her life, so you just have to pick up where you can.”

Celebrity Gossip Seen and Heard at the Emmys

They say they’re just friends, but Heroes co-stars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia seldom left each others’ side during the weekend. At the Governor’s Ball, he was seen… cutting her meat! Maybe that’s what they’re calling it these days. Or what 30-year-old does for someone who’s 18.

Host Ryan Seacrest was still awaiting a critique from his American Idol foil Simon Cowell. “Simon sure is miserable,” Ryan deadpanned. “He skipped out on the dinner to sit by himself and sulk.”

Seacrest and Cowell - who rated Ryan’s effort a “respectable” 2.5 stars out of 4 - partied together later at a TV Guide bash.

The Emmys failed to impress Entourage star Adrian Grenier. He was overheard to say, “I don’t watch any of the [awards] shows, and I never win.”

An event producer for 50 Cent loaned Paris Hilton his room key so she and some guy pals could retreat to his room to “smoke” before the party last weekend. A wobbly Hilton then “chugged a vitamin water to quench her dry mouth.”

Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy hit the dance floor like it was 1989 when Duran Duran rocked the Entertainment Tonight party. Also there were Anna Nicole baby daddy Larry Birkhead and Daisy Fuentes. Howard K. Stern? Not present.

You don’t need a forensics lab to confirm that David Chase put out a hit on President Bush in his Emmy acceptance speech Sunday night.

Toting his golden angel for best drama series, The Sopranos creator alluded to the Bush administration when he pondered whether “this nation itself was run by gangsters … maybe it is… there’s no accountability.”

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane was appalled that Fox bleeped out Sally Field’s comment about the “god—— war.” Jon Stewart joked that censors “probably thought she was saying ‘whore.’ This is Fox… You gotta class the joint up!”

Dannielynn Turns One, Larry Birkhead Speaks Out

Congratulations to Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead! The beautiful tyke turned a year old over the weekend.

Proud Pop, Birthday Girl In honor of the occasion, Lara Spencer - pictured here with the proud father and birthday honoree - of celebrity gossip show The Insider spoke with Larry Birkhead:

On what he’d say to Anna Nicole Smith about Dannielynn:
“I would say, ‘I hope you’re proud of the way she’s growing up and getting big.’”

On what he hopes to give Dannielynn for her first birthday:
“Give her another happy day in life. I know she’s not going to understand everything that’s going on but just something that she can say one day, ‘Wow, what a cool party, what a cool dad!’”

On if Dannielynn is starting to talk:
“We’ve heard her say “da-da” a few times.”

* The Hollywood Gossip note: Rumor has it Jayden James Federline has said the same thing, followed by the words: “rescue me!”

On keeping her mother and brother’s memories alive:
“I show her pictures all the time and I say, ‘This is your mommy and this is your brother Daniel.’ We talk about them all the time.”

On whether she resembles her late brother Daniel:
“Yeah, sometimes. Especially when she gets out of the bath and her hair is parted to the side like a little boy, she looks a lot like Daniel.”

Larry Birkhead Lashes Out at Anna Nicole Smith Book, Homosexual Accusations

Former reporter - and current attention-starved liar - Rita Cosby has written a book called Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death.

In it, she claims that Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern were lovers. And this accusation isn’t sitting too well with the father of Anna Nicole’s baby.

An Odd Threesome

“If this book is not sitting next to Harry Potter on the fiction shelf, then Rita Cosby is going to be wrapped up in one of the most expensive lawsuits ever,” Birkhead said to Us Weekly. “I don’t know how Cosby can print lies like that without once attempting to contact me. That’s journalism 101.”

One pressing question remains: why did Stern and Birkhead (pictured) attend L.A.’s Gay Pride parade in June 2005, where Anna Nicole Smith was grand marshal?

“I was a photographer,” Birkhead said, denying that he and Stern are like Wentworth Miller and Luke MacFarlane. “My camera is around my neck in every picture.”

Among the other allegations in the tome?

That Birkhead and Stern struck a deal giving Birkhead custody of Dannielynn in exchange for Stern being named executor of Smith’s estate, worth a potential $472 million; and that Smith considered Birkhead a “sperm donor,” whom she never intended to keep around.

“It’s bogus,” says Birkhead. “Zero truth to it.”
