Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are at it once again.
With Mueller in The Betty Ford Center and Denise Richards looking after her four-year old twins, sources confirm to TMZ that she and Sheen are headed to court this morning because the actor believes his ex is using her kids for money.
A quick refresher:
Mueller's latest stint in rehab stems from an incident last month in which she rambled about connections to the mafia and allegedly assaulted a male companion.
As a result, little Bob and Max were temporarily placed under Richards' care, with approval from Sheen.
But here is what Sheen does NOT approve of: Brooke's plan to make her brother the twins' legal guardian. Why?
Because Sheen believes his ex is only looking to set up this arrangement because he would then be obligated to cut his $55,000/month child support payment to the family.
Insiders even tells TMZ that Richards has provided the court with written proof that Mueller told her (via text message) she needs that stipend.
Sheen wants Richards to keep the boys until Mueller is sober, no matter how long it takes. The actor will tell the judge today that he'll happily pay child support to Denise during this time period.
