Lisa Ling Gives Birth to a Girl!

Lisa Ling is an excited new mother.

The 39-year old reporter and her husband welcomed a girl named Jett this afternoon in Santa Monica, Ling herself has confirmed to Us Weekly.

"We feel so blessed that this day has arrived," Ling said of the 6 pound, 6 ounce bundle of joy. "We're nervously excited to begin this next chapter in our lives with our little Jett."

This daughter is the first child for the couple, following a miscarriage suffered by Ling in 2010.
