Jim Jones has been arrested after the rapper allegedly become belligerent with police in Fair Lawn, N.J., where he resides, according to news reports.
Jones was apparently charged with disorderly conduct and hindering apprehension.
Police were questioning Jim Jones about a ticketed vehicle they were trying to tow.
He agreed to pay the fee but allegedly became upset when questioned about prior warrants for failing to shovel a sidewalk and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
He posted bail on the warrants and has a February 27 court date.
The 37-year-old hip-hop artist is a member of the Diplomats.
The New York-based rap crew has been around for years, and Jim Jones' hit song "We Fly High" was actually one of 2007's top-selling tracks.
