Thomas Gibson Arrested for Drunk Driving

Television star Thomas Gibson was arrested early today for drunk driving.

Best known for roles on Dharma & Greg and more recently Criminal Minds, Gibson ignored a section of Los Angeles this morning that was section off for a race.

Authorities tell TMZ that police stopped the actor and alerted him to the reserved half-marathon zone, but Gibson proceeded in his vehicle anyway.

He was then pulled over and booked around 1:30 a.m. after officers smelled alcohol on his breath and he refused to take a breathalyzer.

Gibson's bail was set at His bail is set at $15,000.

    I feel saddness for Thomas but more for his family and CM series actors. I pray they will help and support him through this difficult time. We all make mistakes. I hope he learn from this situation and do better. My prayers are with you and your overcoming this episode. Polly Your Forever Fan

    As a fan Of CMs I have noticed for a long time the signs of alcohol abuse on Thomas Gibson. Hopefully this will get him into rehab and back on track. Good lick to him.

    I agree with clemi. He's not a loser. He made a mistake. He's not some Drunk on a binge with a DUI record. Get the story before you label him a loser. Like I said, he made a mistake which I am sure he is sorry for. Right away, people are so quick to judge - "he's an alcoholic and needs rehab". Come on...
