The Avengers 2 Release Date: Announced!

It has a director and a writer - and now it has a release date.

With Joss Whedon confirmed to return for The Avengers 2, Marvel has come out and announced that the sequel to one of the highest grossing films in history will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.

Let the looooooong wait begin!

It's The Avengers!

There's Iron Man 3, for example. And Thor 2. And Captain America 2. There's even Guardians of the Galaxy, which comes out on August 1, 2014.
