Dane Cook Apologizes for Dark Knight Rises Joke, Being an Insensitive Moron

On Thursday night, the unfunny stand-up comedian joked that people inside the Aurora, Colorado movie theater last week were probably wishing they'd be shot because The Dark Knight Rises is such a bad movie.
Shockingly, anyone with an ounce of sympathy and intelligence came down hard on Cook, prompting him to write the following on Twitter:
I am devastated by the recent tragedy in Colorado & did not mean to make light of what happened.
I made a bad judgment call with my material last night & regret making a joke at such a sensitive time. My heart goes out to all of the families & friends of the victims.
And, with that, let's hope the controversy goes away. Along with Cook.

I forgive him, i see why he said sorry but it wasn't needed. People in oversensitive situations always find things to be butt hurt about. DC obviously didn't do it to intend on hurting anyone.. He's a comedian. Get over it people. Don't give him the what if it was your friend crap.
A comedian many times has no filter and says many things on stage u regret later so I forgive u mr cook
Dc is a funny guy. Im sure he meant no harm to anyone. I forgive him. he should think before he speaks from now on though!
The joke was funny the crowd laughed and then a few over sensitive asses have to blow everything out of proportion
