Kristen Stewart to Star in a New Trilogy?
Kristen Stewart will soon be breaking free from Breaking Dawn.
The actress has signed on to play an iconic fairy tale character in Snow White and the Huntsman, starring opposite Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron in a film scheduled for a 6/1/12 release.
It might not be the only time Stewart steps into Snow White's sandals, either.
"It's meant to be the first in a series of films," producer Joe Roth told EW. "This story will end, but there will be questions remaining for these three characters."
As for Stewart's take on the classic character? Roth describes her as chock full of "piss and vinegar."
"She starts out not a damsel in distress, but innocent, and after 11 years of imprisonment by the Evil Queen, she escapes and learns the ways of a warrior in the woods," he says.

No. Just like the Red Riding Hood thing, their messing up a children's story. What's the point of remaking them and taking them so far away from the original story?
