Sources confirm that the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will debut in front of Katniss, Peeta and company in theaters across the country. It's a move that makes perfect business sense, as Lionsgate (distributor of The Hunger Games) acquired Summit Entertainment last month.
Meanwhile, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 hits DVD and Blu-ray tonight at midnight. Are you in line yet?!?
Breaking Dawn Surpasses $700 Million in Box Office Haul, On Verge of Twilight Saga Crown
It may have been the worst reviewed of all chapters in The Twilight Saga, but Breaking Dawn: Part 1 has successfully sought revenge at the box office:
The film blew past $700 million in global box office haul this weekend and, with receipts not even counted yet in Japan and China, will undoubtedly soon be crowned the highest-grossing installment in the franchise.
New Moon grossed $709.8 million during its run.
This exciting news comes just a few weeks before Breaking Dawn is released on DVD (February 11!) and also coincides with talk that the franchise could extend beyond part 2, which hits theaters on November 18.

James Franco Tears into Breaking Dawn: All About Sex!
The Twilight Saga is under fire once again.
A day after Star Trek actor George Takei called out the franchise for simply being "really, really bad," James Franco has penned a scathing critique of Breaking Dawn.
In a column for The Paris Review, the Oscar nominee takes this film to task for its reliance on nearly-underage sex, writing:
The protagonists finally marry, having waited until the wise old age of eighteen, and since the book and the film dutifully show them being wed, they are then allowed to f-ck each others’ brains out. For a film that claims to be sexually responsible, the Twilight movies are awfully dependent on teenage sex to attract viewers.
The actors prance about like pieces of meat, their disturbingly developed bodies on full display; Taylor Lautner’s rippling teenage chest is just a little better than the child beauty-pageant stars at the end of Little Miss Sunshine.
Ouch! What say you, Twihards? If you're looking for a comeback, remember: there's always Franco's hosting debacle at the 2011 Academy Awards.
Breaking Dawn Wins Box Office Crown... Again!

For the third consecutive weekend, this installment of the Twilight Saga earned more money than any other film, adding $16.9 million to its growing tally on Friday and Saturday.
Breaking Dawn actually trails past franchise editions at this point in its run, as it's earned 247.3 million domestic dollars in 17 days. By comparison, New Moon had brought in $255.4 million at this juncture, while Eclipse had collected $255.8 million.
Is there any doubt, however, that next November's Breaking Dawn Part 2 will own all Twilight records in the end?
Here is a look at the top five box office results from the weekend:
- The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1: $16.9 mil
- The Muppets: $11.2 mil
- Hugo: $7.6 mil
- Arthur Christmas: $7.4 mil
- Happy Feet Two: $6.0 mil
Actual Bella Swan Wedding Dress to Cost How Much?!?
The wedding dress that Kristen Stewart wears as Bella Swan in Breaking Dawn was custom-made, gorgeous... and darn expensive!
Speaking to E! News, author Stephenie Meyer says she personally selected designer Carolina Herrera to come up with the gown because she wanted it "to be something special, not something that you're going to see every day."
Hence the crepe satin, French Chantilly Lace and nearly 200 button across the back and sleeves.
THEY DO!
"I love what Carolina did with it, she came up with a stunning concept. It's similar to what I envisioned, but with added elements," Meyer says.
Want one yourself for when you walk down the aisle? A replica version is available right now from Alfred Angelo bridal dress company. It's priced at $799.
But Herrera plans to include the real gown in her 2012 collection, which will be on sale at CHNY boutiques. It might set you back a few allowances, though: expect it to cost around $35,000.

Thanksgiving Box Office Results: Vampires Defeat Muppets!
Vampires 1, Muppets 0.
On the first two days in which Breaking Dawn was matched up against Kermit the Frog and company, the second-to-last installment of The Twilight Saga outearned Jason Segel's version of The Muppets at the box office.
Breaking Dawn brought in $7.8 million yesterday, on top of $12.5 million on Wednesday; The Muppets, meanwhile, opened with a $6.6 million take and followed it up with $5.9 on turkey day.
We'll see how each fares over the actual weekend, but Breaking Dawn has now surpassed $200 million in domestic earnings already. Who knew the franchise was so darn popular? Oh, right. Everybody.
The Bella Swan Wedding Dress: Available Now!
Attention, Twihards: you may never sleep with Robert Pattinson. But that doesn't mean you can't resemble the young woman who did sleep with Robert Pattinson in Breaking Dawn!
That's right, a replicated version of Bella Swan's wedding dress is now available.

On sale for $799, the Alfred Angelo-designed creation is a long-sleeved, lace gown with a V-neck and open back. This is likely the closest you'll ever come to living out this iconic wedding scene each and every night.
Seriously, how beautiful did Kristen Stewart look in the film?!?
