Report: Emily Maynard and Brad Womack Break Up!
It's over, Emily Maynard told Brad Womack on the phone.
That's what Life & Style reports about an April 9 conversation between The Bachelor couple, after she just couldn't imagine marrying the guy.
"Emily told Brad that she can't picture them getting married," an insider reveals to Life & Style. "Brad's not acting like a fiancé, and she knows that he's not going to change. Emily knows in her heart of hearts that the relationship is finished."
Emily Maynard "was very close to moving to Austin with her daughter, Ricki, just a few weeks ago, but that's not true anymore," the insider says.
In fact, Brad put an offer on a new home without consulting Emily Maynard first: "This isn't the behavior of someone who plans to be with her."
The reason for the split stemmed from Brad's hurtful and erratic behavior, L&S says, and the fact that Emily became fearful he was cheating.
"Brad seemed very complacent all of a sudden," says the insider.
"He did everything he could to woo and charm Emily on the show, and then it just slowed. Emily knows he likes Texas, he likes his bars and booze, so she's just wondering if he likes someone else. It started to really worry Emily."
"She felt like, 'If he's not wanting to see her, who is he with?'"
So why hasn't Emily simply announced a split? Her contract with ABC prevents her from speaking out about the relationship without ABC's green light.
ABC called her on April 13 specifically to remind her of that.
Though the network can't force them together, a source says they encouraged Emily to try to work things out with Brad Womack. You know, if she can.
Still, the engagement ring is reportedly off, as is the wedding.
Not sure if this story is true or not, since it comes to us courtesy of Life & Freaking Style, but at the same time, would it surprise us? Not particularly.

i think both are wrong for eachother. Both should know better. Emily is in this for publicity only and to be the next bachelorette. Brad will not find love with Emily and has a bad temper. He does not need to return to show and neither does Jake Pavelka. Both are way too immature.

i didnt think it would work for emily and brad from the beginning. it was plain to see that emily still wasnt over the death of ricky and she only wanted a duplicate of him. as for brad he always said he wanted a southern belle, which is what he got, however there relationship cant progress till emily faces the fact ricky is gone and no one can take his place and be the same as he was. as for ricky she is a child and they are both putting her in the middle of this game they are playing, either make it work or face facts and go seperate ways but dont confuse the child more than what she already is.

LOL, wow... there sure are a lot of "haters" posting on here! Jealous much??? You all speak as though you know them personally and have some inside knowledge as to their families, backgrounds, personal finances, motives, feelings, etc. Even trash talking a CHILD! That much disdain MUST be motivated by envy!

This is what I saw:: Emily is an over protective mother, which I think was going to cause Brad problems... I also saw he had a temper which even his family members admitted, so she should pay attention to that serious defect! I also picked up from the last show that he must have had sex with the runner up, which is a huge sign he wasn't completely "IN LOVE" with just her, or he wouldn't have been able to do that......

Emily should have bowed out of the show or not even gone on the show. I could plainly see this relationship would not work even as Emily met Brad's parents. I don't think Emily's daughter liked Brad, either. It never would have worked. He should have chosen Shantal O. I hope we do not see Brad back for a third run on the Bachelor show. Nor Jake Pavelka. Both of them are egotistical losers.

Emily should not have gone on the show if she is not willing to move. She should just try to find someone from TN. But she got what she wanted - publicity. Also she is too insecure and immature. She needs therapy just as much as he does.

They should break up.
Don't have him back again. He is only interested in himself.
I didn't really care for Emily either. She doesn't deserve a second chance either. Your show can do better than both of them.

I never did think Emily was the right choice. And I also saw her kid as a spoiled brat and disrespectful to elders (meaning Brad) Emily wants her late fiance back, plain and simple and no one will ever be good enough.
