Miley Cyrus to Anchor Supernatural Thriller?

First, her mother reportedly optioned the rights for a music video to be made into a feature-length film.
Now, the screenwriter behind Disturbia and Paranormal Activity 2 has said in a new interview that he hopes to work with Cyrus on "Wake," a big screen version of Lisa McMann's book series.
"It's sort of a vehicle for Miley Cyrus," Landon says. "She is looking to sort of get out of her cutesy Hannah Montana image... She wanted to do something a little edgier and a little darker, so we're making this movie hopefully... It's about a teenage girl who has a rare form of narcalepsy. When she's within a certain distance of someone sleeping, she passes out and goes into their dreams."
Landon says there's "definitely a spooky element to it."
Cyrus has made it clear she hopes to be taken seriously as a movie actress. She just finished filming LOL with Demi Moore and Ashley Greene.

Damn. When I saw Paranormal Activity 2, I was hoping they were going to put her in a horror movie so she'd get fucked up by some demons and die a gruesome death. Oh well. (:
Miley has already been taken seriously as a movie actress!!!! first hannah montana the movie, which was very very good!!!! and then there was the last song, which is an all time favorite!!!! now that is wat i call a great movie!!!!

Why are haters here to give their two cents when this is good news for fans and Miley. If you haters don't like her, stop searching her and finding things about her to hate on. She is obviously doing well for herself since the show wrapped, and instead of congratulating her on her future projects, you lames choose to hate rather than congratulate. Which is sad. But it's okay because I'm sure she could care less, seeing is how she has a life and a job unlike the lames here attempting to ridicule this girl for having a life, something you haters lack. And FYI, her first serious movie was epic. I thought she did great. And if your wondering, yes I'm a fan. Miley, ignore the hataz, get ya money, and do you. Congratulations, and I wish you the best of luck with your future projects.
