Coming to MTV: Teen Mom 2!
Move over, Maci Bookout. Step aside, Catelynn Lowell. Time to make room, Farrah Abraham. Cool your jets, Amber Portwood. Please don't hurt us.
MTV will premiere Teen Mom 2, a sequel to the smash hit reality show, on Tuesday, January 11. Get ready for so much more baby-raising drama.
"Teen Mom 2 is shooting right now," the show's executive producer, Morgan J. Freeman, told USA Today, confirming the sequel's debut on MTV.
The Teen Mom cast became pseudo-celebrities after their trials and tribulations aired this year. Dr. Drew has nothing to do with this, he's just in the photo.
Who are the new girls? Although the cast list hasn't yet been revealed, the featured young women were selected from the current cast of 16 and Pregnant.
As for original cast members Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood, running it back for a new season, Freeman wasn't sure.
"We're doing some continuous-type shooting with the original [cast] but nothing's been announced yet about what we'll do with that," the producer said.

I agree with all of the above I have watched teen mom 1 since the first episode. I am from Guatemala and let me tell you people that even though this tv series is very oriented to give all the teenagers a glance of all the issues you will have to confront if you have a child just being a child yourself, remember that in countries like mine their are girls in ages 10 and up that are having babies aswell so Dr. Drew it would be nice if you thought about this a little a give this messaage as well all around the world. Thanks

How are you going to Take away Teen Mom 1! You totally have left us just hanging! We have grown and have watche these girls! Their stories and kids have changed us! How can you just take it away! It's been like 2 years and we have watched their stories! You left us hanging Macy and kyle or did she go back with Ryan! What happened to their court hearing!? Farrah did her and her mom finally make up? Did she ever find a boyfriend? Catalynn has she gone to see the baby anymore? Did her stepdad ever get out of jail? Are her and her boyfriend going to get married!? Amber and Greg dis Greg eer get custody? How is amber doing with her boyfriend!? Don't take it away it will suck! A new set of girls would be cool but I miss the old. Now we have just all these new girls and their stories.! bringg it back!

When I was pregnant, I watched teen mom 1 every week. The cast members really helped me figure out how I could deal with my situation. I'm not a teen, but i still look up to Maci and Caitlyn. I unfortunately miscarried but still watched the show continuously and again it really helped me deal with my new situation. The new girls may have a story, but i don't think anyone can look up to or learn from them the way they could to the previous girls. Bring teen 1 back for the moms 2 be and the moms who have lost.

I want the original girls to stay. I want to know what happens with their lives. I don't want new girls. Bring back the originals. If they don't I'm not going to watch the show.

I think that they should have the orginal cast! My favorite is Maci! she such a good mom and cares so much about Bentley!

Um, 'Sorry for America', what is your point? And how is it relevant to the topic of this discussion? Sounds like you are crazy to me. Your "hang up" about Sarah Palin has nothing to d with the show in question, Bristol did NOT win DWTS, and teen pregnancy is not any more an issue now than it use to be. It's just more openly talked about now. Back in "pioneer days" girls were married off in their teens, having babies, and being deprived of an equal education as their counterparts. I believe it is important to try to eliminate teen pregnancy, as it is a struggle for young moms to succeed, however, it is not an epidemic. And crazy, extremist liberals such as yourself are more of a detriment to this country than teen moms! Get off your high horse and go spout your rants on a POLITICAL board where people might actually care what you have to say(though I'm sure even they will not!)
My thoughts on the show, yes it would be nice to keep up with the girls and how they are doing, but we have

I think you need to have a Season 3 with the original Teen Mom's. The new 16 and Pregant girls are not that good. I would like to see the old mom's back.

i think the best mom of the show is maci she worked her ass off to take care of bently on her own without making so much drama of her life;) way too go maci keep doing the great job u have been doing

i hope they still have maci,farrah,catelynn,and amber. i agree i dont think anybody will really watch it if they dont.
