Jon Voight: Barack Obama Promotes Anti-Semitism, Civil War in Arizona
To say Jon Voight is not a huge fan of Barack Obama would probably be a fairly safe statement, but Angelina Jolie's estranged father has really outdone himself now.
Slamming the Commander-in-Chief again in an open letter in the Washington Post, the 71-year-old staunch Republican makes some pretty strong accusations.
Jon's views, in a nutshell: Barack Obama propagandizes and hates Jews while defending criminals, illegal immigrants and terrorists for political gain. Harsh.
The letter makes his anti-health care rant seem tame.
Here's what Voight had to say about Obama, who he previously termed a "false prophet" and his controversial foreign and domestic policies. Do you agree?
"President Obama:
"You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies."
"You have done the opposite."
"You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone's enemy - and it has resonated throughout the world. You are putting Israel in harm's way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world."
"You have brought this to a people who have given the world the Ten Commandments and most laws we live by today. The Jewish people have given the world our greatest scientists and philosophers, and the cures for many diseases."
"Now you are playing a very dangerous game so you can look like a true martyr to what you see and say are the underdogs. But the underdogs you defend are murderers and criminals who want Israel eradicated."
"You have brought to Arizona a civil war, once again defending the criminals and illegals, creating a meltdown for good, loyal, law-abiding citizens."
"Your destruction of this country may never be remedied. We may never recover."
"I pray to God you stop, and I hope the people in this great country realize your agenda is not for the betterment of mankind, but for the betterment of your politics."

Umm, sure. What do you think? Is Jon going too far with these remarks? Is the President really fostering destruction from which we may never recover?
Interestingly, Us Weekly recently reported that Angelina Jolie has often gotten into some heated fights over Obama with beau Brad Pitt. "She's into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts," a source said.
"She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise."

SV.....You are the arrogant ass. John V is right on with Obama. He's a sell out, and a player. He spits in the faces of Americans and protects the rights of criminals. I don't care how you feel about him. He is as arrogant as they come and oh by the way I voted for Obama, and never have I ever been as dissappointed as I am with him as president. Live and learn.

Jon Voight is a crazy, old cracker who left his wife and small children for another woman, didn't pay child support. Both him AND Angelina should STFU, since they BOTH benefitted from the welfare they accuse the President of embracing (and who, in fact, managed to be raised by a single mom who DID NOT take welfare). If Angie is going to keep adopting Black kids she needs to stop disparaging the biggest and best American role model they could have. Moronic tramp!

Jon goes way overboard. Its about time the US take a more objective point of view in the middle east. Its been foolish blindly propping up Israel all these years just so they can do the US's bidding in its interests in the middle east.
But he does make a point. Obama was clearly over-hyped, has not really done anything to develop all the "hope" and "change" that got him into office. I'm glad playing the race card paid off for him, while at the same time promoting ageism and sexism during his campaign, but sooner or later, you have to show up to the office and do your job (too bad he didnt learn that from the first year of Bushs's term where he did nothing as well). Theres 2 components to being the first black president...being black (mission accomplished, sort of) and being a president (hasnt done anything yet).
As to Jons ability to be a father, its irrelevant. No parent could straighten out a nut like Anjelina.

Does this person realize that these kind of accusations make us less safe as a nation? It's ironic that none of my Jewish friends and co-workers have indicated, in any way, that Obama has lied to the Jewish people or would not defend Israel. Mr. Voight is dangerously sick! As far as Arizona is concerned, I am against the law that they will institute next month. However, to call all of these immigrants criminals - whether legal or illegal, is outrageous! Just who does he think he is? If a civil war is started, Arizona brought it on itself. However, I do hope that that doesn't happen. By way Mr. Voight, have you been profiled lately?????? Your ranting and raving has more to do with your ego than anything else!

As for Obama being anti-Israel, I assume the U.S.. support checks cleared the bank, in the amount of several billions dollars?
When the American gov't stops supporting Israel to the tune of several billions dollars EACH YEAR, maybe, just maybe the wackos that think Obama is anti-Israel might have an argument. When is Israel going to grow up and support themselves? Supposedly they have smart people, big universities and billions of U.S. dollars in the bank. Time to get off the U.S. super teat. But I guess as long as AIPAC threatens politicians, the money will keep on flowing into Israel, but for some reason hard to find money for U.S. jobs and U.S. healthcare. Go figure.

First off, Voight's open letter appeared in the Washington Times, not the Washington Post. The Wash Times is conservative, the Post liberal. Secondly, Voight is absolutely correct about Obama and his true attitude toward Israel and world Jewry. Those who couldn't possibly believe this haven't been paying attention to world politics, or visited Europe lately. If you think the POTUS (president of the United States) doesn't set a tone around the world (for good or bad) you have a short memory. Think George W. Bush. Obama's appeasement of all things Islam and criticism of all things Israeli is very telling. Open your eyes and do some serious reading before you say no to Jon Voight's perceptions of Obama on Israel and world Jewry.
