Tiger Woods Called Out By Kindergarten Teacher
The headline you see above is not a belated, April Fools attempt at humor. A new woman has indeed come forward in the Tiger Woods scandal - a former teacher.
Maureen Decker is planning to speak out today at a news conference ... to claim a famous tale Tiger Woods once told of childhood racism is nothing but a lie!
Here's the background: In '05, Tiger described how on his first day of school, "a group of sixth graders tied me to a tree, spray-painted the word 'nigger' on me, and threw rocks at me. And the teacher really didn't do much of anything."
Decker, who was Tiger's kindergarten teacher (and is now repped by Gloria Allred, of course), denies this ever happened: "No such incident ever occurred to Tiger Woods while he was under [my] care as a kindergarten pupil on the first day of class."
ROUGH PATCH: Tiger Woods is not only a cheater, he's a liar who made up a story about being bullied by racist kids, his former teacher says. Do you believe it?
Allred, in her own statement, called out Woods for defaming her client: "No teacher should ever be treated in such a callous and unfair manner especially one such as Ms. Decker. The time for Tiger Woods to make direct amends to her is now."
No word if Bryon Bell saw the alleged incident take place.
Gloria's shameless opportunism aside, you have to wonder if he really did make that up. Someone who lives a shady double life for years has very little credibility.
The Tiger statement was given as part of an interview for a 2005 book by Charles Barkley. Today at 1:30 EST, a press conference will take place at Gloria's office.
But there's more. Naturally, the teacher will unveil pictures of Tiger as a kindergartner and also express her feelings about the alleged Tiger Woods mistresses.
Naturally, we'll update this story once she does, too.
UPDATE: Maureen Decker just said she believes Tiger's tale of childhood racism never happened. She wants a personal apology, saying, "I am asking Tiger for a private and public apology to put my mind at ease and set the record straight."
Decker also said she was suffering from migraines and elevated blood pressure as a result of this ordeal ... and colitis. Okay, that's pretty much it. THG out.

Yes, I also read in huffington post blog about the press conference of Gloria with Joseyln James citing that JJ wants to talk with Elin Nordegren.... Interesting that 99.9% of the huge volume of comments are all one-way ...I mean cursing Gloria and JJ. What happened to American culture ? These women Gloria and JJ are shameless and annoying... They are the ones hurting WOODS families and they went around handling the case citing JJ is the victim... I am not saying Tiger is right, but I am now sympathesizing him because I think he wants to save his marriage and family, but these women are bashing out his effort ! I think they hope to get a large paycheck from Tiger by trying to be as annoying as possible and threatening to talk with Elin.. How come there are tabloid/media who are supporting them in attending to their press conference...

To:co-writer @ 5:01 p.m. I do Not believe that Gloria Allred is going to sue on this teacher's behalf. She has got to be able to prove that she was the teacher that was mentioned in the book, and that her reputation was ruined because she was named in the book(which she was Not). I can Not speak for Tiger,but I would keep on keeping on and Not answer anything about this teacher unless it was in a court of law. Only Tiger knows if he told the truth, if he did Not tell the truth,let his conscience be his guide. To my co-writer @ 6:47p.m. Earl Woods wrote 2 books that I know of.I have Not read either,but I will say ,I do Not believe that Tiger would be attacked so viciously and it Not be mentioned in at least one of Earl Woods books. I do Not understand the reason for it to be in Charles Barkley's book, and Not be in at least one of Earl Woods books.If there were untruths regarding such a serious allegation,it should have been resolved before it hit the bookstores.

As expected, these two women invited media to view Tiger Woods Masters press conference with them and cursed Tiger for not making the public apology to Joseyln... The most hilarious and ridiculour request they made is to invite Elin Nordegren to contact Joseyln James via Gloria Allred ... How hilarious ? Does Joseyln want to be-friend with Elin to convince her to divorce Tiger Woods or to sell Elin's evidence of Tiger/Joseylyn affair etc etc... I can't believe how ridiculous women (Joseyln and Gloria) we can find in this world... I think they want to see a broken-up WOODS family ...

(a) So do you think it looks like a legal case that Gloria/teacher can or will sue Tiger ? Personally, I don't think so because no specific teacher name is mentioned as well as no solid evidence either way...
(b)What will you do if you are Tiger ?

Even through Tiger says that the teacher didn't do much of anything,you can bet your last bottom dollar,if an incident of this magnitude had happened,Tiger's father (Earl Woods)would have made headlines coming to his son's rescue.If the story was made up,it is sad because it symbolizes hatred,which has it's own messages. On the other hand if the teacher feels that her reputation has been tarnished,she has Gloria Allred on the case,
and she will be another woman done wrong just by having known Tiger Woods. PEACE!!

(1) So what do you think will be the best course of action for Tiger to handle Gloria Allred with this kindergarden teacher :
- neglect them...(But then Gloria will probably reiterate again and again as "no apology" or "Tiger's Apr 5 press conference not enough to keep teacher happy" as what she did for Joseyln)
- issue a statement clarifying (But what sort of statement is best to clarify to the public...)
- pay to hush up
- apologise even if the story is true just to stop them from annoying him
(2) Do you think there is a case of Gloria filing legal action since no specific teacher name was mentioned ??

The teacher alledging that she do not believe that any of Tiger's claims ever happened reminds me of the fact that there is a 15 year old girl named Phoebe who recently committed suicide because she was being harrassed,and bullied at school.There are 9 teenagers charged in connection with her death.The teachers and staff at that school knew that she was being harrassed and did nothing to alert the authorities that this young lady was in potential danger.As far as Gloria Allred demanding a public apology for this teacher,it is my understanding that she was Never mentioned by name, and how would she assume that she was the teacher that he was referring to? Did Tiger slander her "good name"? Is there a statute of limitiations regarding a civil suit? It is human nature to want to believe in our teachers considering the timeless efforts that they give to our children,but I find it hard to believe that a teacher would allow herself to suffer with migraines,and the daily medication associated

Just read TMZ regarding the comments on the e-news on the press conference of the kindergarden teacher... Oops ! 99% of the comments are "cursing" Gloria Allred... I would say about 85 to 90% of the comments didn't believe in the kindergarden teacher's story and deduced she is another gold-digger... I guess what led to her weak credibility ....stupid to mention migraines and high blood pressure ... her press conference timing is suspicious... choosing Gloria as her accomplice is a poor move... showing Tiger's school photo and commenting on his adult sex scandal behaviour is a NO-NO for a professional teacher... Well, do I have any pity for this kindergarden teacher despite she is a senior ? I am afraid "NO"... How inappropriate and unprofessional for a teacher to show ex-student's school photo and comment on his adult sex behaviour in a press conference !!!
