Paulina Porizkova Rips Heidi Montag, Kate Hudson Plastic Surgery

by at . Comments

Paulina Porizkova was a famed supermodel in the '80s, and did it all naturally. She's got some strong opinions on the surgical enhancements of today's stars.

Kate Hudson, Heidi Montag and even Madonna have drawn criticism from Porizkova, who says she was "heartbroken" by before-and-after images of them.

Most recently, it was the controversial Kate Hudson breast implants that sparked Paulina's pointed critique, even if it's unclear whether she even got any.

"The before: an amazingly fit, gorgeous, small-breasted young woman in a to-die-for red bikini; in the other, a blond starlet sipping a latte," she writes.

"The cup size was undeniably different."

"If big boobs make her happier, then more power to her," she continues. But it's "so much a sign of our times, and one that truly saddens me," she adds.

"I used to use [Hudson] as an example of the perfect beauty with a small chest. Now, with her new boobs, she just looks like any California blond actress."

"Instead of enhancing, she has diminished herself."

Praising "elegant, feline sexiness" of classic movie stars / models Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn, Porizkova also slammed Heidi Montag's plastic surgery.

"Comparing these natural beauties to someone like Heidi Montag is like comparing a Hastens Swedish handmade mattress to a cheap plastic pool float."

Not the words we would have chosen, but that sounds pretty harsh! Someone can expect to be summarily bashed by Spencer Pratt on Twitter today.

Even Madonna earned a rebuke from Paulina: "Madonna no longer looks like Madonna: what started as a sexy, well shaped, and somewhat hairy girl ended as a cool Nordic blonde. She is starting to sort of melt away into the stew."

Pretty much sums it up.

anyone remember paulina's teeth?? she NEVER smiled with her teeth in the beginning of her career. veneers anyone? those that live in a glass house....

kate hudson??????????!!!!!!
lawwwwd girl , put yer claws back in ....
your photoshop foto on modelina don't look like you either !
stop hidin' that lumberjack jaw of yours & keep your insults , your a grown woman bitch!

I agree with Paulina and thank her for her honesty. But I do not think that beauty defines you. You still have character and moral values that makes you who you are. No matter how beautiful you are on the outside, you could be very ugly on the inside. Beauty fades people let's not forget that!!

I 100% agree with Paulina. Yes, she was lucky to be born a natural - and stunning - beauty. However, I do NOT believe that only beautiful people can be successful. Some examples: 1 - Sarah Jessica Parker. She makes no apologies for her 'flaws', and makes her features work for her.
2 - Madonna (pre-surgery). Arguably WAY more successful than she is now, and she did it with hairy arms, bushy eye-brows, etc. She disappoints me more than all the others combined, as she proved surgery was not needed, but caved anyway. Now, how about the 'beauties' (post-surgery) that don't have that much success:
1 - Demi Moore. What was her last hit? Why is she news? Oh yea, her wrinkle-less face. Yawn.
2 - Heidi Montage. Know forever as a plastic surgery junkie and nothing else. I could go on and on, but you get the gist.

i do not agree. numerous studies have proven that better looking people ARE more successful, popular, wealthy, happy, and perceived as having better personality traits (ie, trustworthy, kind, talented, etc.) even when they do not. paulina was merely fortunate that she did not NEED cosmetic surgery in order to fit the bill. to throw stones at those who do what they have to do in order to be attractive, is to refuse simple gratitude for what she was born with naturally. we can't all be so lucky, paulina.

I agree with her 100% and glad she isn't afraid to speak up. It IS very disheartening. All of these women who can't handle accept their bodies or can't handle aging----all it does is show us how much of a lack of self confidence they have. There is nothing wrong with accentuating yourself but by rearranging your chest or face to give you confidence is a serious mental issue. So people should not look up to those who surgically enhance themselves just to be physically better looking because it just shows how little self confidence they have. Sad.

Kate Hudson Quotes

I don't even remember the last time I got a manicure. I even got to the point where I started waxing my own legs because I don't have the time. I'd rather be home with [son] Ryder sitting there waxing my legs. I haven't gotten a facial in a million years. I don't do those kinds of things. And when I do, I always think, 'I should do this more often.'
