Chris Brown really wants to stay relevant.
That much is obvious, but the fact that he's literally begging his fans to help that cause is pretty funny/sad. Brown used an audio message to spread the desperate plea.
Brown's message is available through SayNow.com, a website in which stars can record messages for fans ... of which he apparently has fewer die-hards than the old days.
In the message, the felony woman beater begs fans to help "bring me back," saying that he won't name names, but "a lot of radio stations aren't playing my records."
"They are not being that supportive and I wouldn't expect them to."
A studious Chris Brown hopes for radio redemption.
Brown goes on to say he's "a better guy now" ... but says "[My music] won't be possible if I'm not relevant on the radio ... I can't be an underground mix tape artist."
Chris' popularity has understandably taken a beating ever since he doled out a severe one to then-girlfriend Rihanna a year ago. Not the best move, image-wise.
His new album, Graffiti, is somewhat of a sales letdown.
We believe in second chances, sure, but calling out stores and stations for blackballing your album (true or not) isn't the way to go, Chris. It just makes you look petty.

One of the reasons that Chris Brown gets so much crap from everyone is that be seems to be unrepentant [regardless of "doing the time"]. His apologies never appear to be sincere and his main concern seems to be his career.
He needs to either be sincere to give the appearance of sincerity. Shut the hell up for a while then resurface. Where are his people? Who advises this loser?
I want to give him a chance but his arrogance and stupidity in the face of all he's done just frigging irks me.
People WANT a reason to like Chris, again... To forgive him... But he keeps doing [saying] dumb shit. SHUT UP!!!

Stop calling the boy a woman beater, girlfriend basher, wtf ever. I'm not saying he's Scott free innocent but he is paying for what was done. Rihanna on the other hand isn't paying for shit she is salting the wound for the media to feed off of. She of course hit him first etc, etc. Sure, she's a female and it couldn't have possibly had an affect like his hits did but it could do something. I think that the light needs to be shown that she is a girl just as Chris is a boy not woman and man but both children who hit each other and do not have any type of self-control clearly. leave the poor guy alone now, it been a year and things get overrated, this is so overrated. He is human, mistakes do happen but that does not give anyone the right to hit anybody. People get over it now, it seem like you still dwelling in the past. Yes he did hit Riri and he apologised for it, he is doing his community service and staying away from Riri. CB yes you were wrong by doing the deed but they should not do this to you. CB keep up the good work and i am going to buy your cd. Love you Chris Maurice Brown.

I continue to enjoy reading the comments of my "Barber Shop"co-writers.Time and again I have mentioned that we may not always agree with one another's opinions,and that THG gives us as co-writers an opportunity to express that which is "our opinions".
The reality of the word "abuse" associated with the comments on these pages of course would start an uproar of opinions that could swing in different ways.I still have my opinions about CB,and as previously mentioned,I commend his supporters,for continuing to support him and his music,I Am Not be one of his supporters.The old adage:There is No business like show business,and that is what it is a "Business".It is a business that can Make or Break you.When you have reached the "very top",
you have got to continue to work to stay there.When something happen,like getting arrested for being high,or on prescription drugs,or driving without a license,or even being in an accident, it is news.When you have two high profile young people under the age of 20 in the news one for being battered, and the other for being a batterer,it makes news.The news of Rhianna being attacked and beaten was news before it was mentioned that CB was involved.
It was not released right away from TMZ about the pictures of Rhianna,but when the pictures were released while she was in seclusion,it became a case of,one picture is worth 1,000 words.
The pictures of Rhinna was shown around the globe.Before she was beaten,she was in commercials,and her face was her fortune.Before CB went off the deep end "on" Rhinna,he was making commercials for
chewing gum.CB lost that endorsement deal,not because of Rhianna,but because of CB. No one wants to talk about abuse here,because it is a usually " a hidden,behind closed doors"no body has to know sort of thing,that is going on right now in New York with the Governor's alleged intervention,to stop the battered person from going public.My comments are not going to change anything that has already happened,and each of us as co-writers have a forum to express our opinions,which remains good thing!!!

I still like Chris and I feel as if people are over reacting just a little bit. If they were just two average young adults people would just look the other way but by them having a little money people want to make Chris look like a monster. Im not saying that he wasnt wrong but it was mutual they both pass licks but hes the bad guy. He's already paying for his mistakes. so why take his music out of your stores? Maybe thats his only escape from reality ,seeing since everyone is being so hard on him. Im still a Chris brown fan!!!! I LOVE YOU CHRIS
