On The Hills being real (ha, right): "None of us study acting. We can’t cry on the spot. My own brother didn’t talk to me for eight months because I went to Lauren Conrad’s birthday party! It would be easier to be on a scripted show."
On dating in L.A.: "The guys in L.A. are awful. I feel like I know half of them, and the other half I don’t want to know. They’re all wearing Ed Hardy t-shirts and trucker hats that say 'female body inspector.' I’m not looking for someone."

Just because she's Spencer's sister doesn't mean she is a bad person. I actually happen to think she is a pretty good person. Just because she got a DUI, doesn't mean she is a bad person.
The fact that she befriended Lauren and didn't care what her brother or Heidi thought, is pretty amazing. She was willing to sacrifice her relationship with her brother and Heidi, because she knew what a good person Lauren was. I think it is admirable that Stephanie is so open about her problems with drugs and booze. She is one hundred percent different from her brother. She is not like her brother in the least. She would never start rumors about anyone, and Spencer has. I just don't see why so many people despise her. I don't think she's trashy at all. I also like that she tried to make Lauren and Heidi make up; that was sweet.
I don't she takes sides in the whole feud and that's cool.
