Barack Obama thinks Kanye West is a jackass.
Kelly Clarkson can't even comprehend how much she hates the rapper.
But the woman at the center of this week's controversy appears ready to move on from it. Taylor Swift told ABC News Radio this morning that she's heard from West, following his ridiculous interruption of her VMA acceptance speech.
"Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology."
Last night, Kanye appeared on The Jay Leno Show and said:
"I'm just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else's hurt — and I don't try to justify it because I was just in the wrong... I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I'm going to make it through the rest of this life, how I'm going to improve."
It seems like an easy question, folks, but whose side are you on in this feud?

He is a dick.I think he just wanted to impress beyonce instead he looked just like a jackass.So rude and unprofessional dont like his songs dont like him anymore people can be ugly from the inside.Way to go Kanye you look sooo coooolll now LOL

This is a perfect example of talent going to someone head. He is a good producer and artist (creative). His consideration for others is his downfall. If he had a an issue with the voting he could have voiced it a different way and not steal Taylor's golden moment. I believe he needs to do some serious reflection.

There are SO many things wrong with what happened at the VMAs.
1) They shouldn't have even ALLOWED West to come onstage while Swift was making her acceptance speech. Even if they thought he was going to congratulate her, it would STILL be rude to interrupt her. (Even though they couldn't have possibly thought that.)
2) If I recall correctly, didn't Kanye bitch and moan in 2007 that he was never coming to MTV again because he lost out on that award? He should have kept to his word.
&3) Surely I CAN NOT be the only one to notice that the ONLY thing about Beyonce's video that was better than Taylor's was the choreographed dance. The video was her &2 girls dancing furiously against a white screen in one pieces for crying out loud! Not to mention the lyrics to that song are wretched.
"...I got gloss on my lips, a man on my hips
hold me tighter than my Dereon jeans..."
True words of wisdom right there.
Now don't take that the wrong way, Beyonce did the classy thing, was not at fault here in any way, she's full of talent...yadda yadda yadda. I'm simply stating that Kanye had to have had an ulterior motive for pulling this publicity stunt. Victim of Shaken Baby Syndrome perhaps?
And as far as Miss Swift goes, true class at it's finest. And at the young age of 19!!! It actually embarrasses me FOR Kanye that someone so young can so something so much more mature than he ever could. This "man" took this important moment from her, horrified &humiliated her in front of millions of people, which inevitably turned into a media frenzy and then expected an apology to make it all go away...NEWS FLASH KANYE: It shouldn't have happened in the first place.
It'll stick with her and she'll remember it EVERY time she goes to look at her little moon man.
She's a better woman than I am. I would've told him to eff off.

first of all, rkay, get a life. that was not a comment, those were paragraphs! haha anyway, i agree with you though. Kanye was dead wrong. He knows he was wrong. He apologized. She accepted that apology. Even if he didnt mean it, she accepted it. So you and everybody else still talkin bout this need to accept it too & understand that there are some jerks in the world. Get over it. Nobody cares about your or my opinions anyway.

he was soooo rude at the VMA's and needs to go and learn some manners. But taylor swift came out as the better person in all this when she accepted his apology and carried herself with grace and dignity. That proves that she is awesome, i mean she is like 19 but a whole load better and mature than kayne. rock on taylor!!!!!!!!
