Jessica Simpson's Dog Daisy: Snatched By Coyote!
It's just not Jessica Simpson's year.
First celeb gossip sites post photos of her looking fat, then her country music label drops her from its lineup, then Tony Romo dumps her a night before her birthday, romancing younger, hotter Candice Crawford soon after. Rough.
The alleged singer-actress was dealt a new, sad setback last night when her beloved dog Daisy was abducted, allegedly by a coyote, in Southern California.
The maltipoo, which Nick Lachey gave Jessica as a sign of their undying love once upon a time, may have met a tragic demise similar to their marriage.
Jessica Tweeted that the "carmel [sic] colored" pup was snatched "right in front of her eyes" by a coyote last night. We're guessing Daisy wasn't on a leash.
She posted this reward notice:
Poor Daisy. Just look at that face! Sniff.
Coyotes have been roaming closer to the human population with the wildfires in the area driving them out of their natural habitat. People are being advised not to leave trash or pets outside as snacks for these hungry, wild animals.
Daisy is not the only casualty of this unfortunate scenario. Coyotes have to eat too. Keep dogs and cats inside, people of the L.A. metropolitan area.
We truly are sorry about Daisy and hope Jessica miraculously gets her back or adopts a new pet. Daisy can't be replaced, but all puppies are cute.
Maybe John Mayer can comfort her too.

Is it true that Maltese dogs tasted like teriyaki chicken? I know I sound insensitive but a pet should be watched not let roam its her own fault and all you hacks that are saying that this is like losing a child need to grow up and stop suggesting animal psychics people like you make me sick, I love my pets but I also take care of my pets and understand that if a coyote gets ahold of one of my pets then I'm out of luck and I need to be angry at myself not the coyote. Shame on her for leaving the dog where it could be grabbed. OH an done more time WHAHWHHAEAEAEHEHAE oh poor Jessica(see I can have tantrum on a blog page too.8>)

I am so sorry Jessica, My husband and I went on vacation to Texas recently, we live in a neighborhood, I have a fenced 6ft around my yard, and a doggie door for my animals to come and go as they please. Nothing ever happened in the 7 years I lived here. While we were gonna we had a pet sitter that came twice a day to check the animals. Well one night a racoon or fox got a hold of my lil dog(looks a lot like yours) and torn her leg up pretty good. We were lucky, Graci got away and into the house, our pet sitter came to check her and rushed he to the vet. We came right home from Texas and took her to a specailist trying to saave her leg...which is ongoing....as of now, please say a prayer for lil Graci. Pets are like our children. the cost have been a lot, I have taken out a loan, but she is like my baby. I just pray she will be ok. Jessica hopefully ur lil baby dog didnt suffer much and now is in a better place. Sassy

I have been so sad over this, I have a dog like Daisy almost identical and it is overwhelming in how she had to leave this world. I can't imagine if this happened to us. Wish the pet psychic would let us know so us caring people would know.

We have a really great pet psychich who can contact Daisy dead or alive and tell you what actually happened, it will bring a lot of closure, this is who my mom turned to when suddenly loosing her dog at 5 yrs old

I cannot stand Ms. Simpson she is such trailer park trash. She is ignorant, really unintelligent and notoriously stupid.
I do feel really bad for the loss of that beautiful dog. I actually feel really sad for Ms. Simpson.

Anybody who finds this funny has obviously never had a pet, especially a dog before. Or, you are just heartless. It' doesn't matter who it happens to, it's a very sad experience to lose a pet, they are like family.

Frankly, it was rather stupid & irresponsible of her to leave out that tender morsel. There is no way that dog could defend itself and that was a really sweet, cute pup. To go from the life of luxury, to being devoured by a starving coyote. Gee whiz.
Yeah, I guess climate change (that increases fires) really IS a growing problem!
