Paula Abdul Really is Leaving American Idol
American Idol just got a lot saner, and a lot less entertaining.
Following weeks of rumors about her departure and public contract negotiating, Paula Abdul has confirmed her exit from the top-rated show on television.
"With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to Idol," Abdul wrote on her Twitter page last night. "I'll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day one become an international phenomenon.
"What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. I do, without any doubt, have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all."
The show is now left with a trio of judges for season nine: Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi, who signed a new deal last week.
In response to Abdul's farewell, Fox released the following statement:
"Paula Abdul has been an important part of the American Idol family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show. While Paula will not be continuing with us, she's a tremendous talent and we wish her the best."

Paula Ill Really Miss you on idol when i found out that you were leaving American Idol my world turned up side down my heart is severly broken and shatterd that your leaving. Im severly hurt and sad that your Gone i dont think my heart can be realeved of the pain that it suffers now and i just cant live without you on Idol Paula and ive been crying for over a month or two now and its so so hard for me to axcept that your gone. Paula I just want you to know that you will always be in my heart broken or not you will always be apart of me and my life you have always been my favorite Judge on American Idol on or off Idol i dont Care You will always be my Favorite Judge on American Idol Paula No matter what i will not stop praying for you to return to idol and make sure that you get a better contract because i know that your hurt that Ellen is taking your place on idol as a judge and that your upset and im so sorry that this is happening to you and you dont deserve to be replaced by Ellen

Pleas Paula Dont Go You Were so much Fun on Idol i will miss you alot Paula and I cant live without you Paula i will be a wreak without you its so hard for me to axcept that your leaving and because your leaving idol i have been crying and crying i cant seem to get over the fact that your leaving Paula and i have givin up American idol because Your Gone i cant take the Hurt and the pain and the Saddness that i suffer from in my Heart. My Heart has been crushed because your leaving idol im so hurt and sad and upset that your leaving and im sure simon is going to miss you the most as well as me but i truly want you to return to idol otherwise im never watching the show ever again because your gone and i cant take the suffering that i feel deep inside my heart i just cant Paula im extreamly hurt and Sad that your leaving ill miss you so so so so so so so much ill never forget you paula and how you made idol a joy to watch ever since i was 8 years old i love you paula and ill really miss y

Kara has an abrasive personality.
Paula, with all her 'quirks' was at least entertaining. Actually I wish Paula would fire all of her current staff and get new people who would force her to face reality and start behaving normally, before it's too late.
