Ricky Berens Swimsuit Malfunction Captivates Nation
Beijing Olympic gold medalist Ricky Berens made swimming history of a different sort Sunday as he ripped the back of his swimsuit during a qualifying heat of the 4x100m relay freestyle at the World Swimming Championships in Rome.

Ricky Berens was alarmed, but undeterred by his swimsuit malfunction.
"I kind of freaked out for just a second," Berens said. "I felt like [the hole] was almost down to my knees. I felt like I was putting on a pretty good show."
He was. Better yet? The U.S. qualified for finals and won.

The *HOT* John Robert Holbrook poster of his male model laying on a couch (naked) face down wearing only the Holbrook socks is a masterpiece!! I received this poster during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and I need more of them for gifts. Does anyone know where they are available? I was told Prints Plus but they are nowhere to be found....HELP!

I heard that Designer John Robert Holbrook (J.R. Holbrook) was dating a Professional Football Player. Does anyone know which one? I also heard that he was married to a 90's Playboy Playmate and has 4 children with her. What IS his story??!!

You would think that swimsuits such as those worn by Berens, which cost something like $700, would be well-built. Shows you that an expensive item doesn't always mean quality.
SCORCH: I read on a newspaper that it was the female Italian swimmer and her coach's decision to bow out of the competition due to her defective swimsuit. So it wasn't like she was disqualified by the officials because her ass was hanging out. And hers happened several minutes before the race even started...and I believe with Berens, the malfunction occurred after the relay had already started (he was the 3rd leg to swim).

Okay, so he competed. The same thing happened to an Italian swimmer earlier this month and the reports say she was forced to sit out the competition. Why could he compete and not her?

JR Holbrook I am a huge fan of yours! I watched your shows at Sundance Film Festival 2009 and they were great ( www.festivalafterdark.blogspot.com )! I just watched you on Samantha Brown's Sundance show and you had perfect timing teasing her......keep it up! I also bought your cologne "Pharaoh" and the chicks dig it!
