It was a family affair Saturday as mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears was thrown an intimate baby shower in her hometown of Kentwood, La.
About 30 guests were invited - including big sis Britney Spears - out to Kentwood for a ladies-only, catered celebration for the 17-year-old.
The family's Serenity mansion, where Britney hadn't been back to since her aunt's funeral early last year, played host to the family event.
Britney Spears attended Jamie Lynn's baby shower!
"Jamie Lynn opened every gift," says a source, adding that her mother Lynne Spears and fiancé Casey Aldridge's mother lent a hand.
"We all sat in a circle and she opened gifts and thanked every person. It was just a good old fashioned baby shower."
Though sheriff's deputies were posted at the gate and celebrity photographers circled in helicopters, "it was a normal shower," says the source.
"A wonderful, sweet occasion."
Britney Spears was photographed smoking outside a lot. But it's great that she rolled to Louisiana to celebrate with Jamie Lynn.
In March, the Zoey 101 star announced that she and Casey Aldridge are in fact engaged. She is reportedly due to give birth on July 10.

i hope jamie decides to raise the baby cos if her mother does she will ruinits life like she did with britney and jamie!!!

Everyone was making such a big deal about Jamie Lynn Spears being pregnant at 16.
