She may be writing a hockey blog for the NHL Playoffs, but the young hunk seen with Lauren Conrad frequently is a minor league baseball player named Doug Reinhardt, who's in the Baltimore Orioles' farm system.
His stats suck (the guy's batting .201 career in the minors) but hey, he's only 22 - and maybe good looks will help him make the big leagues.

Of course this is not a serious couple; it's all staged for the show. Doug is in an ON/OFF relationship with some other girl, and he just used the show to become famous. He's obsessed with fame.

let me finish that....therefore (as i was saying) I am pretty sure this isn't a serious couple....I mean this guy is partying with Lauren's ex bf!! Anyway, he is a hottie and may look cute with Lauren, but both he and Brody seemed to be livin it up in Vegas!!!! Hung out with them at Rehab last Sunday. They're both hot, and super sweet, but I think they're def lovin the attention!

He must have gotten released from the minors. He isn't on any Orioles farm team roster, and there are no stats for 2008.
