Lauren Conrad Declines to Make Political Endorsement
While Heidi Montag recently announced her support of Republican John McCain, don't expect Lauren Conrad to be as public with her political preferences.
When contacted by the New York Times' political blog about LC's candidate of choice in the 2008 presidential election, Lauren's publicist replied:
"Lauren Conrad believes in a private ballot, but encourages everyone to vote."
Lauren Conrad isn't looking to make her political views known, unlike former friend and current co-star Heidi Montag, who publicly endorsed a candidate.
We certainly respect LC's point. One might assume that because LC and Heidi are rivals, that she'd support a McCain rivals - Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
But really, there's no way of knowing for sure. One thing we have zero doubts about? The awesomeness of The Hills. How great were those Monday episodes?

does Heidi even know what she's supporting? she is just looking to hold on to whatever ounce of popularity that she can by getting involved in ANYTHING that comes her way. she is sooooo lame and needs to get a life. See heidi? if you were still friends with lauren you wouldnt have to worry about being popular and for how long.
