Hillary Clinton Photo Op Interrupted By Streaking, Torch-Carrying Hawaiian
Hillary Clinton was posing for photos with Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang after their recent meeting in Honolulu when someone decided to crash that party.
The Secretary of State must have caught it out of the corner of her eye, because a second or two after the fact, she realized what happened and seriously cracked up.
A random, scantily-clad Hawaiian dude running around with a flaming torch while you're trying to pose with a dignitary will have that effect. Pretty funny stuff:
Michelle Obama, Oprah, Lady Gaga, Beyonce Lead Most Powerful Women List
Cultural impact might mean as much as money and political influence, as evidenced by the celebrities on Forbes' 2010 World's 100 Most Powerful Women list.
The list is based less on traditional titles and roles and more on creative influence as well as entrepreneurship, the building of brands, the breaking of barriers.
The women of politics, business, media and lifestyle (entertainment, sports and fashion) were ranked in each group, and after that, in group against group.
Two of the top three in one photo!
The diverse mash-up of hard and dynamic power led to this top ten:
- Michelle Obama, First Lady of the U.S.
- Irene Rosenfeld, Chief Executive, Kraft Foods
- Oprah Winfrey, Talk show host and media mogul
- Angela Merkel, Chancellor, Germany
- Hillary Rodham Clinton, Secretary of State, U.S.
- Indra Nooya, Chief Executive, Pepsico
- Lady Gaga, Singer and rumored hermaphrodite
- Gail Kelly, Chief Executive, Westpac
- Beyoncé Knowles, Singer and fashion designer
- Ellen DeGeneres, Talk show host
What do you think of this list of the most powerful females? Spot on? Off base? Who would you include/exclude? Who should be higher?
Hillary Clinton Rules Out Second Presidential Bid
Usually, politicians are ambitious creatures who choose words carefully and make open-ended statements, but Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wasn't this time.
She battled Barack Obama down to the wire for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, but don't expect the 2008 runner-up to ever try to succeed him.
Asked on Today if she will ever run for president again, the former First Lady and U.S. Senator, laughed heartily and replied: "No. No. No. I mean, this is a great job. It is a 24-7 job. And I'm looking forward to retirement at some point.”
She also addressed criticism that the head of the State Department is marginalized in debates over two national security threats: Afghanistan and Iran.
"I find it absurd," Clinton said, adding that maybe it is a "woman thing."
TEAM OF RIVALS: Obama brought Clinton into his administration.
"You know, I’m not one of these people who feels like I have to have my face in the front of the newspaper or on the TV every moment of the day. I would be irresponsible and negligent were I to say, 'Everything must come to me.'"
"Maybe that is a woman's thing. My goal is to be a positive force to implement the kind of changes the president and I believe are in the best interests of our country. But that doesn't mean it all has to be me, me, me all the time.”
Given Obama's late night skewering of late, perhaps there's just a little bit of HRC that's glad she's out of the limelight while the presidency is Barack's problem.
Happy Birthday, Hillary Rodham Clinton!
While she fell short in her race for the Democratic Presidential nomination against Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton won over 18 million votes - as well as our respect.
Not only that, her pantsuits gave us plenty of material for our celebrity fashion section, and for that we are grateful! Here's a photo tribute to HRC, who's 61 today:

Tina Fey Returns to SNL ... as Sarah Palin!
Given that Tina Fey and Sarah Palin are already noted look-alikes, it was only a matter of time until the Saturday Night Live alumna parodied the Alaska Governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate on the late night comedy show.
Not only is Fey a dead-ringer for Sarah Palin, but her accent was downright hilarious in last night's "non-partisan" sketch skewering the 2008 presidential election.
Amy Poehler, while bearing no physical resemblance to Hillary Clinton, is nonetheless funny as the former First Lady in this faux, joint press conference ...
"I believe global warming is just God hugging us a little closer!"
Hillary Clinton's Orange Pantsuit: Fashion Hit or Miss?
Last night in Denver, Sen. Hillary Clinton spoke before the Democratic National Convention, urging party unity and support for Sen. Barack Obama.
She can give a great speech - but it's the former presidential candidate's style we're concerned about. The former First Lady even poked fun at herself, referring to her supporters as The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pantsuits.
Did Hillary Clinton make it work - or should the fashion police pull her over? Tell us if you think it's a fashion hit or miss in the poll below!

Hillary Clinton: Real or Wax?
Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is seen here waving to fans, thanking them for support in her failed bid to become the opponent of John McCain.
OR IS SHE?
Is this a photo of the actual first woman to ever make it this far in a presidential election, or just a wax figure replicate of Bill Clinton's wife?
You decide in this edition of Real or Wax …
Follow the jump to find out the answer …
Celebrity Fashion Police: Pull Over, Hillary Clinton!
Like Hillary Clinton or absolutely despise her insincere, pandering persona, you have to admit that the former First Lady can at least laugh at herself.
She smiled through her explanation of how she conveniently misremembered being under sniper attack in Bosnia - and she's also poked fun at her past choice of outfits.
Regarding the following sweater she wore in 1998, Clinton said: ""Sometimes the Christmas spirit gets the best of me."
Obama Girl: Hillary, Stop the Attacks!
The web's sexist political analyst, Amber Lee Ettinger, is at it again!
This time, "Obama Girl" is telling Hillary Rodham Clinton - whose chances of winning the Democratic nomination for president dwindle with each passing day - to lay off Barack Obama already! See hilarious video below ...
Don't worry, Mike Gravel. Amber Lee Ettinger is still crushing on you. But she also thinks the former First Lady should tone it down a bit.
Dirty Photo Finish: Hillary Clinton vs. Cisco Adler
No one is accusing Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton of anything resembling the lack of personal hygiene exhibited by "rocker" Cisco Adler.
Her political tactics, however, are growing dirtier by the day.
In Philadelphia during last night's debate, the New York Senator threw all she had and more at her opponent, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.
Grasping at straws and resorting more than ever to personal attacks, it was the kind of display only an ardent supporter like Perez Hilton could love.
As for the Cisco kid, well, Mr. Adler not running for office (thankfully). But man, has this guy showered since 2003? The man just exudes dirty.
The hairy WhiteStarr singer may have shagged Kimberly Stewart, Lydia Hearst and Mischa Barton and who knows what other celebrities, but he will always he the greasy dude with the hat, tube socks and giant balls to us.
Tell us: Who's dirtier in their own way: Cisco Adler or Hillary Clinton?
