At a private hilltop location in L.A., The Hills cast and their fans on Monday celebrated the Season Three finale with a blow-out party Monday.

While it was sad to see Season 3 come to an end, there’s a whole new year of drama to look forward to in Season 4, beginning in late summer.

Here’s a look at what’s next for Lauren, Lo, Audrina and others, via some hot spoilers and gossip TV Guide unearthed at the party …

Boys, Boys, Boys

Expect more, more, more. Lo and Lauren throw a big party in their new pad and invite boys galore. The ever-single Stephanie Pratt feasts her eyes on, well, everyone, and Lauren Conrad may have a new beau (Doug Reinhardt?) in tow. And as for Audrina and Justin Bobby? They’re definitely back on. As Audrina herself says, “[Justin] has always been there for me, and he still is.”

Friends in Lo Places

As far as Lauren Bosworth (Lo) is concerned, the tension has little to do with her - despite a self-described “foul face” when the topic comes up.

Next season, expect more from Lo’s perspective.

“It’s disheartening to see me turn into such a bad guy on the show,” she said. In Season Four, “You’re going to see the other side of the story. I think people need to remember that it’s Audrina and Lauren’s relationship that’s having problems…. It’s not my relationship to muck up.”

After a falling out last year on The Hills, Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt’s friendship appears to be on the mend.

“We’re cool. It’s all good,” Jenner said at the Hills finale party.

A rift had grown between the two - who were friends for over ten years - after Pratt made inflammatory comments about Jenner’s ex Nicole Richie.

The fact that Brody continued to be friends with Lauren Conrad after Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag declared an all-out war on her threw gasoline on the fire.

But Brody Jenner has always downplayed the drama with Spencer Pratt.

“I love Spencer and I have always said that,” he said. “It’s not about any animosity towards each other. I wish Spencer the best. We took a different path and I respect his path. I do what I do and he does what he does.”

So is there any future for Brody Jenner and Lauren Conrad?

“Me and Lauren are friends,” Jenner said at The Hills party.

“That’s what it is at this point in time and that’s where it’s going to stay until whenever. I love Lauren and I always have.”

Despite the drama we witnessed on last night’s season finale of The Hills, pals Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge (with Whitney Port) were smiling ear to ear at the MTV show’s official Beverly Hills finale party.

The third season finale of The Hills begins with Heidi Montag in Las Vegas with Brent Bolthouse and Sam Nazarian, her bosses. In L.A., Spencer Pratt sulks as usual - but then decides he’s gonna put it all on the table.

“We’re going to Vegas!” he tells sister Stephanie Pratt.

They hop in the car and five hours later, they’re in Sin City. Stephanie plays the role of clandestinely finding out where Heidi is. Then Spencer sneaks up on her as she sips cocktails at some swanky joint with her bosses.

Mortified, she leaves the table and we are treated to an epic Heidi and Spencer fight. But this time he is more reserved. Determined, he says that “We need to be together … just come back to L.A. with me.”

Heidi Montag was conflicted, but apparently couldn’t resist Spencer Pratt.

She stands up Bolthouse, pulling a no-show for their next big meeting, and is next seen leaving her Vegas hotel with Spencer and Stephanie.

Back at Chateau de Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge is … not there.

The celebrity news world is simultaneously bursting and flat.

The unbalance of Britney Spears, the growing pains of Miley Cyrus and the druggy tailspin of Amy Winehouse - to name a few favorite plots - add up over the hours to grand narratives and debates about femininity, drug use, mental health, sexuality, motherhood, legal proceedings, parenting and violence.

But the celebrity gossip world is flat in that every story seems just as important as every other - and this is a monster that needs feeding.

That’s what celeb news fame is now: Weekly, and sometimes hourly, we must have stories; the lives of the chosen people must appear to move forward.

Into the breach between supply and demand have stepped Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the villainous couple from MTV’s docu-soap The Hills.

While Heidi Montag may not be the most famous, she’s definitely fame-ish. Creatures of the game in every way, she and Spencer, the arch-enemies of Lauren Conrad, have mastered the new realities of celebrity culture.

The two know what commodity they’re selling and what its value is: “There’s only so much gossip,” as Heidi said over lunch recently.

“We’re always the juicier story,” Spencer Pratt interjected.

Maxim has officially jumped the shark.

Just the same, the men’s magazine’s editors have spoken: Heidi Montag is hotter than Lauren Conrad - they’re ranked No. 36 and 56, respectively.

That’s according to Maxim’s annual “Hot List” poll, which obviously does not deduct points for boob jobs, nose jobs, lip injections or general suckitude.

“Let’s hear it for villainy!” Maxim wrote of Heidi Montag in the feature, although they did credit Lauren Conrad for making “the life of a rich young woman seem normal,” and for “paving the way for Heidi.”

To say the least. What a duck-lipped leech.

Birthday girl Audrina Patridge also represented The Hills at No. 74. We are sad to report that Whitney Port and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth were not ranked.

The Hollywood Gossip takes issue with Maxim’s crappy rankings. We wonder if you agree. Who do you think is hotter, Lauren Conrad or Heidi Montag?

Stephanie recently gave an interview with BuddyTV in which she talked about Lauren, Heidi, Spencer and all things Hills. Excerpts below …

Q: Did you have any reservations about being a regular cast member on The Hills this season? Were you nervous about anything?
Stephanie Pratt: How it would affect my relationship with Spencer.

Q: How has it affected your relationship with Spencer? You guys have certainly had your ups and downs so far this season.
Stephanie Pratt: I actually don’t really want to say anything about Spencer.

Q: You and Lauren had a little bit of a blow out last season, now you guys are friends. What made you change your mind about her?
Stephanie Pratt: I was out of town, and then I became really close with my brother’s girlfriend. They had this conflict with Lauren, and I was at that club, and they were really upset by her. You know, the fight. I yelled at her, and I felt really bad because that’s just not the person I am. The music was loud, and my adrenaline was there, I saw her with Brody Jenner, and I got really upset that Brody was there, because Brody was like a brother to me. Then when I saw her in class I was terrified, but I knew I couldn’t sit for nine weeks and not talk to her.

He recently came back to The Hills… but is he back in his former flame’s love life? That’s the question of the hour re: Stephen Colletti.

The woman in question, of course, is Lauren Conrad.

Together, she and Stephen were spotted sharing a friendly outing with her former boyfriend at The Grove in Los Angeles. The Hills star and Colletti went to the movies to see the current box-office champ, Iron Man.
