Natalie Portman Supports Hillary Clinton

We're not sure if Natalie Portman is still dating Nathan Bogle. We haven't heard from that alleged male model in quite some time. Sad.

But we know she's throwing her support behind Hillary Clinton in the race for president, although she likes the other contenders too.

Natalie tops Elle Magazine's April 2008 "Intelligent Women" issue, and in her interview, here's some of what she shared about politics:

"A lot of the stuff people say about [Hillary Clinton], I hear it and my stomach falls because it's so sexist. You ask people why they don't like her and it's because her husband cheated on her! That was obviously not her choice."

THG NOTE: We respect everyone's opinion, but really, Natalie? Didn't you go to Harvard? We would love to know the name of one person who actually used that reasoning.

Natalie Portman in Elle

Natalie Portman is sharing some political views in the new Elle.

"She's so much more polished and experienced than anyone else. Last night, a friend, a social worker in L.A. who works with underprivileged kids, was saying how these girls who have never been interested in politics before are so excited a woman might be president. I mean, look how many women are in government ... Hillary Clinton is one of, what, [a handful of] female senators?"

THG NOTE: 16, actually, Natalie. There are also 71 U.S. Congresswomen, including the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, plus eight state governors and the U.S. Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice. Which is great. We're just saying.

"I also like Barack Obama. I even like John McCain. I disagree with his war stance â€" which is a really big deal â€" but I think he's a very moral person. I met him and Hillary on the same day, actually, when I went to Washington with Finca [a nonprofit that gives loans to businesswomen in developing countries]. Hillary was by far the smartest person I met that day. Just totally focused, and knew more about the issues than anyone else, and was so able to go from one thing to the other."

This whole statement about Nafta is nott even true,,, soon your going to say when Obama live on the news telling reporters No one in his campaign meet with Canadians leader,,,than a few days later ,Obama back tracked,, ya they met but it not what was said,,,,, If Obama don't know what his own top guys,,, he not going to be much of a leader, No one made Obama lied on tv,,, that all Obama,,, plain and simple,,, can't blame Hilary,, for that,,, that why I am switching my Vote for Hilary…..

He can not win a big state no matter what anyone say He can not get elected with out winning a big state, and because he lied about Nafta, No matter how you cut it,, He lied on video that now one from his campaign meet with the canadians,, but ti was true, show you how barack going to run the show, and because of his wife
Michelle Obama is hurting Barack Campaign she need to get off the campaign trail,,, Really she look like Mike tyson with Hair for god sakes.

Barack is not going to win the presidency,,
He can not even win 1 big state,,, Everyone is caught up in this Barack Obama magic show, the democrats just gave this campaign away to the republicans, Barack will never see the white House only if he takes a tour,,, The Obama campaign
think if Hilary gone he will pick up the other half of the Democratic votes,,, that is where he is wrong,,,He will only pick up a third of Hilary votes, the there 2/3 well half of them are going to act like obama voter if obama don't win they are not going to vote ,,, 1/3 of Hilary voter will not vote,,and the other third is like me I voted for Hilary
I am voting for Experience, which is Hilary,, if Hilary is pushed out ,, My vote like tens of thousands are going to vote for McCain,,, If Obama get Hilary to be her vice president,, Obama will still lose, but if Hilary win she will take the presidency Obama can be vice president,, so he can get On the job training ,,,, this is the only way its going to work,,, American people are so dumb,, thinking Obama got a shot, even tho he has not won a single big state it going to matter,, Even the Media is finally see that..
Who has more experience, well in order
    1 Hilary
    2 McCain,
    3 Ron Paul
    4 Barack
That sums it up right there, Hilary in this for the long haul She is fighting Barack , McCain & the Media and she still doing good,, She has half the democratic votes, LOL
Now that is funny,,,,, Do the math,,,

What experience does Hillary have? Please Paul - PLEASE???!! Tell us what she's been doing for 35 years which makes me think she's been vetted??? I'd like to know what she was doing while she was in the White house - was she the one answering the phone at 3:00 am as she would like us all to believe? I don't believe it even woke her up? You don't gain experience by transference...she just needs to tell us what makes her a good choice for President? What experience does she have writing bills in the Senate -oh that's right, she hasn't....

I'm confused Paul - help me, be SPECIFIC on the experience owuld ya?

Paul - do you really think only big states elect Presidents? Not been voting long right??

Well, this article is supposed to be about Natalie Portman's stance on Hillary, so I'm going to comment on that. Way to go to Natalie! It is so wonderful to see a passionate and intelligent person who is capable of thinking independently, rather that just hopping on the bandwagon. That is precisely the trait of a leader. She is a real class act!!!!!!!
