Talk about an uplifting story!
With a somewhat bumpy ending.
A Canadian resident named Daniel Boria went viral on Sunday after attaching his lawn chair to 110 helium balloons and floating through the air above Calgary, Alberta.
Boria’s goal was to promote his cleaning products business.
It was also to literally drop in on Calgary Stampede, a two-week rodeo in town at the time, though strong winds pulled Boria off course and he ended up parachuting into a field about a mile from where he took off.
The police actually detained Boria afterward and charged him with mischief causing danger to life and mischief causing damage to property before releasing him.
"It was the most fun thing I’ve ever done," Boria later told The Sun of his stunt, the opening part of which you can watch above.
