We’ve watched the following commercial for Priority Motorsports in Wichita, Kansas approximately 729 times – and we’re still at a loss.
We still can’t figure out the answer to the following question:
Is this the world’s greatest ad or the world’s worst ad?
Because it’s one of the two. There’s really no in between.
The spot features a man at first talking very excitedly about the company’s "selection of pre-owned vehicles."
As is the case with many commercials of this nature, he has a lot to say about the deals one can get if they take a trip to his lot.
That’s fair. That’s normal. There’s nothing especially unusual or viral so far.
But then the man changes course… and most notably changes his tune, literally, as he just starts doing the "Nae Nae" and somehow relating this to the cars he has in stock.
He also does the "stanky leg" and the "broken leg" and he does all these dances for a solid 10 seconds or so.
He does them terribly, we should add, but that simply adds to the allure, intrigue and, of course, entertainment value of a middle-aged white man trying to go all hip-hop.
So… sit back, watch, watch again and then watch again. Only then can you help us decide:
Is this totally awesome? Or the worst video to ever go up on the Internet?
